I have a 2023 BC 20X. Love just about everything about this rig. The composite floor is the most important thing, frankly. I come from a teardrop trailer. This is a truly thought-out design. The large bed is the next most important element. I am using a 2000w solar generator with a 30amp plug for shore power often. I swapped out the battery to a 100ah 12v lifepo4 and love it.
Nice off road camper. I'm sure all those speakers will come in handy while boondocking in the desert. Pump up the jam man! Geez Airstream, what are you doing here?
So, I have had my 2024 1/2 GT for a few months now and let me tell you. the GE AC is the absolute worst thing Airstreams ever done to me. It is the loudest ac unit I’ve ever heard. There is an ever present very loud rhythmic hum whenever the compressor starts up. It is a frequency that will eventually drive me mad and just about has already. I heard Airstream just changed back to Coleman for GT’s Thanks a lot GE. This is otherwise my dream trailer. Oh! And it leaks onto my roof too. So, bonus!!
Upgrade of $500 to get a convection microwave on a $150K trailer and it’s standard on a $30K Rpod! Beautiful trailer besides that. Could you provide tank sizes on your walk throughs?

I'm confused - so if I buy the small white square one do I also need the router looking one you're actually reviewing or does the small white one work fine all by itself???????
I’m not able to answer that question fully. Yes, the bracket can be added, however I can’t speak to whether or not it would support the bike rack once added. I’d recommend calling Airstream Customer support and ask them.
Nice job. I sure wish the Classic had the Globetrotter bathroom. The Classic bathroom make no sense and may prove to be the dealbreaker for us. The storage is so awkward.
you missed two of my favorite Airstream features one is on top of the rear bumper is a Lido that flips up and typically people store their Sewar hoses in that so it doesn’t Give off any nasty smell in a under belly Storage area Like most RVs and Travel Trailers have , the other thing is the Potable Water door is hinged on the bottom so when you pull it open it becomes a inlet to fill up your Fresh water tank with a Bucket as it acts like a Funnel in the older Airstream manuals they used to point out that feature for Boondocking where you didn’t have a traditional Water Hose Connection available like most Campgrounds offer these days and you could fill your water tank using a Bucket being filled from a nearby Spring or River ! iMO Airstreams are packed with Amenities and Quality Features One of my Favorites is their Roofs are Double Bucked Riveted Aluminum and very rarely ever develop Leaks I owned a 1979 TravelTraiker that never had one and despite the Windows being Aged with a little bit of penetrating Oil/ Lubrication every few years they would operate like brand new ones I used mine up in the Mountains in the Summertime and the Windows allowed Cross Breezes All day and night time so AC wasn’t even required if there wasn’t a breeze you could create one with using the fan only on the Overhead AirConditioner that could be run off a quiet Honda E1000 suitcase generator that was so quiet you could barely hear it running at night
Why in the heck would you do white furniture in a camper, you are outdoors getting sweaty smelly. Unless you just go to beach or stay out side. God forbid you have kids.
Well I hope you are still employed. Personally I thank you for telling the truth, and wish a lot more people would. Sadly in 2024 folks are getting fired left and right for telling the truth, and ironically are getting rewarded and promoted for lying through their eye teeth. The quality of materials are not so much better that it justifies that price. The wine bottle rack is just a cheap attempt to feign some kind of elegance without even going to the trouble to build it right. RIDICULOUS.
