Film maker Brian Darwas currently produces feature length documentaries on Hot Rod and Motorcycle Culture. All of which have gone on to win awards, and have been well received. He's now changing things up a bit, making a handful short films that anyone can share freely.
"I feel it's important to our scene that high quality moving images, which can both awe and inspire, are available to anyone at anytime. My goal is to reach the younger generation. The generation of people who grew up on the Internet, and turn to it as a source of new ideas and inspiration. I'd like to instill in them the notion that hot rods, motorcycles, and building stuff by hand is still cool and relevant." ~ Brian Darwas
Each film will run anywhere from two, to five minutes. Once completed, they will be shared freely via the Internet, social media, etc. . .
I'm late to this Video... Cheers to the Cavaliers Car Club... And Brad Masterson.. from George.. of the Ink n Iron festival.. was always glad to see you guys pull and support.. peace
This is by far one of the most under rated kustom docs ever. Masterson is a legit LEGEND AND MASTER 💪💪 skills handed down from the great Barris and Hines to masterson…truly epic
this is awesome! where did you aqcuire this projector? and what is the name of it? looks like a very slick! great editing on this video as well, fantastic job! have a great day
- thanks for watching. The projector is a Chinese made portable called a Jing Gang Shan 105. It’s also rebadged in the UK as a Spectra 90. It’s a small 35mm projector that I modified to work with a double MUT.
OH i like you 32 with a quickchange . tons of louvers and an open exhaust i could fit my fist in + mmmmmmmmmmmm the rust ( " patina " ) congratulations
Back in the day when punkrock came out with sex pistols etc, they and their follower were not car fans at all, on the contrary they *hated cars guys and many car guys "hated" them, at least where i was back then , so its a bit odd how some nowdays mix in punkrock music with old hotrods , really weird , LOL 😂 but well if you were not around back then you would not know I suppose ;) But great little movie still ;o)
this 2 mints 30 secs, are spent waaaay ,better then those CGI fest, of movie garbage now adays , with the uber priced tix, and 30$ soda .and all that BS ,
As a 42 year ol Kat it pains me to watch this because no such thing as men who tussle and let it die after, is non existent in these women wearing jean fellas, that are supposed to be men. I myself was known as a snapper, because i wouldn't take anyones lip. So i would throw with anyone wanting to challenge cajones. I never stood down for handing out knuckle sandwiches to even the vegetarians that claim they "don't want beef" but are quick to flap gum. True men in a true car guy fashion. BUUURN!!! GOOD SHIT!!!👍💪🥊😠🥊
Hey Brian , so glad to hear from you. Sure enjoy my library of your AtomicHotRods videos I received for Christmas a few years back. Was real happy to see your '32 coupe in Ben's 4 Speed Films presentation about a year ago! Hope things a going ok in Bronx. Were doing ok in Manitoba, Canada . Stay safe!
