I'm one that has been curious about green. Bought a couple of red dots before and was about to bite again for red. Green is definitely the way I want to go. Thank you for doing this. Ted
Ok, thanks ,but this is what you can see trought an holosight stopped on the table, and ok first one is better than others 2 but during the use on a carbine? Can keep the quality under an hummering of 5.56,7.62? This is the real question. Obviously is just an question and not contriversy thanks for your vdo
I heard you mention the 407k is better for self defense. What’s the difference really between the two besides reticule options? I heard one of them has a bigger dot can’t remember which one. And which one would you recommend? Thank you in advance, and great video!
@@MikeV671 The difference is the 407k has single 6 moa dot as opposed to the 507k having a 32 moa circle a and 2 moa dot. You are able to cycle and just use the circle, dot or both on the 507k. For the price point the 407k is probably the best option. I prefer it over the 507k, my eye's find the single fat dot faster. I use the 507k on my 940 pro tactical and it suits the shotgun better for me. In the end it's personal preference, but I choose to use the 407k daily.
@@ParadoxZer0 thanks for the feedback🤙🏽 I needed up ordering the 407k green dot. I did a bit more research and yes, the bigger dot is great for EDC especially up close, faster to find the dot compared to the 507k. It’s going to be my EDC for my 43X! Thanks again, take care.
In the gold prospecting world it's a given that a green pan is the best color for a pan. There is tons of science used to get gold out of a river or rock and the color green was found to be the best color to highlight little specks of gold against.
That's strange 🤔 The 3 I put out along my fence line were filled to the brim and smelled like a dead body. I think it attracted even more flies from further away, we do live next door to a dairy farm though. Sorry it didn't work for you.
The 407k is just a 6 moa dot, all you can change is it's brightness level with 10 selections. Yes, they both are available in green, you'll need to look around for availability locally or shop online.
Thanks for showing what they look like. How does that work? You put the red dot on the spot and... what? Is that like the front iron sight? I dont get it.
Parallax occurs when the target and reticle are on different planes within the optic. It results in a displacement between the intended target and reticle.
@ParadoxZer0 Thanks for your help but I still dont get it. I understand what parallax is, but I dont have an idea of how this sight is used. Do you have to align the dot with some point in the glass AND your target?
@@ParadoxZer0 Naw I just have severe astigmatism in both eyes and I dont see that reticle well, its just too much going on. My eps carry has the crispest dot of any optic I own and it even gets a bit blurry in certain lighting conditions.
As in not catching the flies or not keeping them away from your outdoor areas? Dumb question, but did you fill it with the required amount of water? They start smelling like death immediately. They certainly work, probably too good in my experience.
😆 remember to take some dramamine before watching. I made another video without the parallax because of this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iSzeqzjXObc.htmlsi=31DaE7QXk2Hu-lkg
Green is best for all human eyes because of biology…however, if you have astigmatism, you will likely have a strong preference for red or green. I personally can’t use green, it’s like an exploding star, the red is nearly perfect so try both
The 6 MOA dot is better in my opinion, It's easier to see it especially in the daylight. The 2 MOA dot is a bit too small. Holosun should make a 3 MOA dot instead of 2, I think 6 MOA is perfect.
Thanks, great video. Fyi I don't care much for "professional RU-vidrs." I'd much rather just watch an imperfect video from a regular person. Thanks again
When testing parralax always aim at something past 10 or so yards. Ideally 25. Becsuse thats when its parralax free. The glass on that door can mess up the test. Try it on a wall 2 feet in front of you then try it at 15 feet. You will notice a huge exaggerated difference.
I was wanting to go with the 510c green but i found the red one at a local shop for 260$ tax included so i just went with that. Great video tho maybe ill go green next time lol
Thank you boss!! Very helpful video… I’m still having a hard time deciding. Im a newbie…I do wear contacts for astigmatism and my rifle is just for home defense. I would think if I ever needed to use it (hope never) it would be in a dark home. Anyone have suggestions for me? Thank you.
That trap doesn’t work at all! The flies breed inside the trap and the maggots crawl right out creating more flies. Plus it smells really bad and attracts even more fly. Do not buy this product! Waste of money!
