I’ve spent the last 12 years working in the restaurant industry and now I’m on an adventure across America and Canada to see campgrounds, RV parks, attractions, vineyards, breweries while also demonstrating how to cook a variety of foods over a campfire just like I would in a professional restaurant. I would love to share my experience with you and help others along the way by explaining what it takes to live in an RV full time and what to expect from this very unconventional life style. Idiots in their 3 axle trailers get stuck and buried EVERY single damn time they show. Serves them right for being so phukking stupid. If you have a 3 axle trailer and go here be prepared to throw away $500 to get a tow truck just to show up. The towing part is on top of that.
We were lucky to be able to tour the town without a lot of traffic or people. I intentionally try to avoid recording others for privacy reasons as well! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching, this spot is off to the right for about half a mile from the main road heading south into Joshua Tree Park. Thankfully there’s only two directions you can go into for boondocking, left or right off the main road, so you’ll be able to easily find it. Hope this helps and safe travels!
I live about 15 miles from Harrisonburg and I am wanting to join Harvest Host to be able to use our camper more often both close to home and not so close. Welcome to the area and hope you had a great time! I'd love to stay here, if they have food. (I don't drink).
So great to hear that have that large lot! We had tasted at their Santa Barbara tasting room years and years ago and always wondered about their Fillmore location. Our old home base was only 30 miles away, but what a fun way to add a night to a trip!
Thanks so much for the nice video and kind words! I just found your video today but it looks like you visited in December! LOL Thanks for coming, we're glad you had a great time!
I've been cooking these chicken sausages on the grill many different times but the skin keeps getting tough and chewey as leather. Maybe I will try your method of grilling and then putting them with peppers and onions. But, I would like to be able to just grill them and put them on a bun with some BBQ sauce. Maybe I can marinate them or boil first?
Sorry for the late response, happy to hear you liked the video and the tuff casing on the sausage can be a problem but you could try boiling them first. I never use this method because it takes some of the flavor away like boiling any meat but it would solve the tuff casing issue. Adding it to the onions and peppers does help soften the sausage a bit but you could always add a little water or chicken stock to the mix to help hydrate them. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
We just learned of your channel from the RV Life podcast. Scrolling through your videos, this one caught my eye as Savannah is one of our favorite vacation spots. We plan our trips here so we get 2 Saturday visits to this farmer's market, plus a Monday visit to the smaller Tybee Island farmer's market.
Hey! Thank you for the great video. Would you say there's any point in the trail where it could hold ~30 people standing AND see a full unobstructed view of the island? Looking for a spot for my wedding ceremony so any advice is appreciated. Maybe the spot you filed at 6:58? Couldn't tell how wide the trail was at that point though. Maybe would be blocking the path for others.
The trail is very narrow in some places and quite close to the edge with no guard rail so having that many people gather for a photo may be difficult. The trail head and parking area have a beautiful view of the lake and island with plenty of space to gather for a photo so that would probably be your best option. I hope this helps and thanks for watching and supporting the channel, safe travels!
I work in the ticket office here at the track and I want to Thank you for your amazing words , you captured our Camp ground perfectly ❤ while we have beautiful green grass 😊. I wish you and your family Safe travels as you continue your travel adventures. We hope to see you back here someday.
