Not a great video, Only partially good. There is a 2 revolution minimum between open and close. when the guy sets the lower limit TOO CLOSE to the upper limit, The upper limit changes, He goes back to adjust the upper limit, again, TOO CLOSE to the lower limit, now the lower limit went lower (see the screw on the wall as reference)
Thanks for taking the time to comment. Is there ever a situation where you wouldn't allow for the 2 full rotations you spoke of? My question is, isbthe video proper and helpful as far as it's content and process for adjusting a shade that requires more than the 2 full revelations required?
If you're pressing the arrow and nothing happens that tells me 1. There's no power or 2. The limits aren't set. Go through the steps in the video to set limits first.
@@anthonyash3103 the green light is on. But the shade doesn’t seem to move when I press the turn button. However with the remote it will work. Maybe I’m not pressing the button properly?
@@markjones3213 - the green light should only illuminate while you're holding the arrow button (clockwise or counter clockwise.) DO NOT hold either of the square window buttons. Those are fir programming. ROTATION is from the arrow buttons only.
Thank you, I checked for another one, PJ-3BRL-GWH-T02. That one is for shades, but they want to sell it exclusively for Serena Shades. Is that true? Thanks again
Buen dia, me podrias proporcionar el modelo de el motor que estas usando y el modelo del equippo que esta conectado al motor de la cortina, te lo agradeceria muchicimo
Good morning. Disconnect power for a count of 5. Reconnect power. Motor lights should go through the Blue/Red/Green flash. After that there should be NO RED LIGHT. If there is the motor is defective. If not you're ready to do the reset as per the video. P.S. - make sure you're not "tapping" the open or close buttons (the ones with the windows). This will give a solid light because you're in limit setting mode.
Oh my GOSH!!!!! THANK YOU SOOOO much. It's the day before Father's day and I accidently deleted one out of the 5 shades and it's 10:20 pm and I felt sooo bad and YOUR video is the only one that fixed it. Ohhhh THANK YOU THANK YOU THANKYOU!!!
All batteries changed and still no activity on the BUTTON/LIGHT. Ne sure ALL batteries are NEW, are standard Alkaline (No Lithium and no rechargeable) and make sure all are in the proper orientation +/- if this does nothing THEN try a reset. Triple Tap HOLD - light flash - when it goes solid - Triple tap and release. If this works start sprogram as if its a fresh motor. If NOT the system is dead and needs Warranty replacement.
Nolan - you should NEVER have to reprogram after battery change. The initial Red/Green light flashes is correct. Then lights go out. Check battery in transmitter. Also tap button on drive, do you get solid red light?
Danny - glad this was helpful. So you want to see the Multi channel transmitter programmed to a Battery Triathlon shade. Is that correct? I have that video using a pico to triathlon. It's the same for the multi channel. The only diffrence is after you tap the triathlon button then you select the channel on transmitter then you hold close. And thats it.
Mona - if you have no light on the drive then the drive is not powered. Unplug at drive and replug. That should give you the initial light sequence. If that doesn't happen then your issue is at the power source. Single transformer or power panel. Once the power is restored then you can continue.
@@anthonyash3103 it was one of the wires with the grey clip in thing- the board didn’t have a green light where it was plugged so I moved it over to a space that did.I’ll still need to check the fuse for the previous place but I got it working at least.
@Mona - ok depending on how old the system is it may not be fused. But if it is , you only have to replace if you need that position again. There are 2 extra fuses at the top of the panel. Again, if it's a fused panel. 1st version QED were Not. And newest QS are Not fused.
i have 6 winodws and one does not work. I think it got water. The motor works and I set the limits it won't auto open and close from the switch on the wall. How do I get it to connect to the auto unit? I have a guy that will put a new motor in for $2300...trying to see if i can fix this myself
Tim, How are the 6 motors being operated right now. $2300 is too high to replace one drive. Should be around $1200 - $1500 drive and labor all included.
@@anthonyash3103 •by a plate on the wall. I push all open or all closed and I do have an option to just move the upper units or the lower units. The top 6 windows and the bottom are in sync to raise and lower. This Lutron system was installed in 2011.
@@timgregson6495 - did you try to reset the drive to factory default (see video) and then reprogram the switch to assign that drive back to the switch.
Thanks so much. My shade went screwy so I did the factory reset after which it wouldn't work. This got it moving once again so I could then set the upper and lower limits.
Glad it worked for you. If you have any suggestions of other vids that would be helpful let me know. I know how it is when you can't find easy instructions on a project.
