This channel is devoted to sharing the music I have either; tailored for myself, "altered" to bring more out of the song, or some of my favorite performances. The music which I've altered is comprised of many different sounds from many different areas, some are from; musicians, bands, composers, or simply the sounds of a busy intersection... Even some political speeches from history may be incorporated. Simply put, I am taking various sounds that I've heard along my journey, which spoke to me and incorporated them together. I hope you enjoy! Remember it's all about the feeling... Music is a universal language. God bless!
I totally loved Linkin Park with Chester Bennington. He had one of a kind voice that could never be replaced. The new singer doesn't compare at all. I will only listen to songs with Chester. He appreciated his fans. I will always miss him. Such a sad death
I was about 5 when I first heard linkin park, I was at my grandfather's house and my uncle was listening to numb early in the morning this was 2005. I miss my grandfather and the vibes of those times, I was stupid kiddo, my grandpa was alive and my uncle was a teenager, we would play wrestling, I'd watch my uncle playing cs1.6 and hear my grandpa talking even tho couldn't understand adult language, I felt amazing.... and didn't know.
I get goosebumps just sitting here on my couch hearing LP absolutely crushing it, performing my favourite of their tracks, but being there in the crowd must have been mind blowing. Such an incredible voice and such a fantastic band.
No one could sing like Chester....not even Chester could sing like Chester...on the album version. I have always been underwhelmed with their live performance as opposed to other Nu Metal bands like Korn, Staind, Three Days Grace, etc. He sounds vastly different than the album version and always like he's out of breath.
To me it’s crazy to look back at old LP videos and see the massive crowds at these stadiums they’re playing in front of and then remember back when I saw them for the first time playing for a couple hundred people in the parking lot of the Westminster Mall. One of the best shows that I ever saw. What an awesome band, hope LP succeeds with the female singer.
I think they made the wrong choice by picking a female singer. You could put any accomplished female (Metal) singer in the band, and it still wouldn't work. That lady they chose is doing her best, and I think she isn't that terrible, but it's just not LP. it's a lady covering LP. I hope the band will reconsider and find a better replacement.
I think they chose a female out of respect for Chester. They making a new era and letting him be at rest. Any male vocalist would immediately be compared; “I bet Chester would have done it better” etc
We all know we could never compare the two. I truly feel the band isn't "replacing" Chester in anyway, just exploring and seeing what works. And Chester will always be my boy. I am loyal. But Emily's really impressing me. The girl really has heart and you can hear it.
