Watched at least ten videos, no results until you. Thanks so much. Very clear explanation and most importantly it worked. I mean solution #2. What's strange is my sound was already set to 24 bit 48000 (studio quality) and when I lowered to what you put it at, 16 bit 48000 (DVD) quality, that's when it worked. Seems strange. Cheers.
Brilliant. I'll use some meths (methylated spirit, not crystal meth) after sanding to remove oils etc. Was going to use gloss but you've sold me on matt now. You've answered a lot of questions and saved people a ton of time with this video. Thank you.
Considering what it looked like before, and it only cost a can of paint (as opposed to spending $$$ to have them professionally powder coated) it ain't as bad as u think
Lol. I didn't realise I was doing it till I recorded a whole day's worth of trip. Then I see these funky X on the footage, then indeed checked the manual of the Variable ND and there it was.
Sorry for the late reply, YT does a bad job of notifying about comments. You have a couple of choices. First is to just increase the t stop/f stop so the background is not so blurred - and it'll give u more wiggle room. E.g. the subject will be in focus if you're between 3ft to 6ft from them. Rather than having to be at an exact point. Second, get a wireless follow focus (if you're not using auto focus that is)
