I am researching that mechanic rn because a week ago or so I also thought about this "DZ provocation" strat. Could not implement it/record a video yet, life is in the way. But I've done a game file research, the mtth for the event when Germany subjugates DZ is 120 days (since the start of the war perhaps). In my save, DZ revolts around May 31, Germany gets the event around the end of October, but ofc there is RNG. And then Germany does a literal coinflip on whether they want to puppet DZ and join the war as a defender. Also, if Germany improves relations with DZ to 100, DZ can actually agree to join Axis, but it sounds like a less predictable way. Want to try doing this with Habsburg as this seems like one of the easier ways, but then attempt the same with the historical path for all the juicy Sanacija modifiers. Also, are you sure the "prepare for the inevitable" path really worth it? Considering it too, can really justify the spies, and the factories sound great, but don't you lose more speed by shrinking to the crescent and then having to reconquer a bunch of land? I find it weird that they all of a sudden finally corrected the Xinjiang flag, but it's still wrong. The old design was the correct design, just with inverted colours. Now they've got the wrong design but the right colours. Still no idea why they call it by the Romanized name either. I guess because most people aren't aware that "Xi" is pronounced "she". Weird Paradox decisions confuse me. Plus the seemingly arbitrary naming conventions. Some nations and ideologies using informal names for countries while others use formal names. It's so confusing lol
Hii, i started to masterise this path (wich i love in theory) but today i got a new problems (lol) wich i couldnt find a solutions... im in late 38 and i still couldnt do any chinese power struggle decisions ? I cant click on any regions and i dont know why ? Im above 300PP and china does do some power struggle but on my side they are unclickable :/ btw, sorry for my english im not fluent enough to clearly explain my problem x)
Your english is good enough don't worry 🙂 I'm not certain why if you have done the focus required, it would not be working. You could try reloading the save, otherwise I'm not certain. Maybe a restart could fix it.
@@hatless_spider Well i restarted the game twice, didnt worked on the first, same in the second but after an autosave, dont know how nor why, the decisions started to work x) I can assure you that i did the EXACT same things as you all along (and i wrote some notes btw) so yeah paradox issue i think ? Anyway i hope it wont happen with my friends in multiplayer XD Still, thank u
Bro has been killing it lately. I will say that annexing Bohemia is powerful even if you don’t get the full Austrian empire. They have a very nice industry and population boost
