Great video man, Ducati SS 950 is absolutely my favourite Ducati. Nice for chiller rides but still some quick riding. cant wait to upgrade from my 50cc licdnce 🥲
I have wheelie'd my 939 and road it out in 1st gear. but I have never tried to continue it into second gear. I don't have a quick shifter. and I'm also old and I'm not a risk taker anymore like I would be if I was your age. just having my front wheel a foot off the ground in 1st is enough for me for some occasional enjoyment.
Still in TX, just in moving process but same state. I’m itching to get back into my content creation so I plan to be much more active in the next few months!
A Rsv4 and idr the other in front tbh! But I was definitely going slower than I could to stay behind them on an unfamiliar road to me. 950 can hang for sure!!
I cannot even tell you how many times people have asked and tbh I really don’t know lol the dealership I bought it from put it on and has their dealership logo on it… and I haven’t seen any others similar
Hey quick question, I just bought a 2023 950SSS, have not ridden it yet but will start soon. When I test rode one last year I loved it but the steering was very heavy and it was slow side to side. I anticipated that the tires were low on air. Do you find this bike to be sluggish in turns or does it move side to side quickly?
Yeah no I don’t have any issues with the weight tbh. There’s a huge difference when I’m on a worn tire vs a freshy but that’s it. Could have been low tire pressure
Yessir got it November of last year, just never gave it love to the channel. I got an Alfa Romeo that matches the bike exactly. I just have a short with it but that’s all
Loved my Hyper 950SP so much I just bought the 2023 950S Super Sport......I can't believe this bike does not get more love. Too many people judge a bike by horsepower only. This bikes is just perfect in terms of streetable comfort, plenty fast and is SO stable. Ducati just has vibe and smile factor. I always ask the litre bike guys how many times on the street do they exceed 150mph? for most it is fleeting and I would argue that the Super Sport 0-100 will give a Street Fighter or Panigale a run to 100 with way better torque and road manners, not to mention comfort. There is no other bike like the SS.....just wish it had cruise control. I also own a Pikes Peak and a 1290 Super Duke and I can say the Hyper nor the 950 leave me wanting more power.
@@CAN2YT Yep, with all of my Ducs, they are so good I have no desire to sell or upgrade. Japanese bikes I cannot say the same. Great vids, it helped me decide to pull the trigger!
I still have the stock pipes. I’ve enjoyed them and put my money more into the gear and accessories l. I imagine I’ll change them one day but I don’t mind stock at all, esp being in a city and not distributing neighbors
I am so close to picking up one of these. I have a 950 Hyper SP and it is amazing, thinking about selling my Super Duke for one of these. I think the Street Fighters and Panigale's are just useless on the street and if anyone does not think that this 937 engine packs a punch they have never ridden one. I remember when a100HP let alone 110-13 was considered world class power. I have test ridden a Super Sport and loved it, never did I want for more poke! I wish they would add cruise control!....not sure if the new ones have a gas gauge or not but I think not....Ducati, you are so close to making a perfect bike!
Proof right there that you cannot realize the power of a Panigale on the street. The Super Sport is more comfy and faster than one would ever need. I just wish that Ducati would have put Cruise Control on the SS.
Im really not trying to trail brakes into public roads too much and I don’t think the corners are necessary sharp enough. That would be extremely aggressive riding to me 🤣
@@CAN2YTI'm thinking to get an SS for comfort, but would miss the power of the V2. The R1 is a serious beast! But also extremely uncomfortable. If I went litre, it'd be S1000RR.
@@watrzx2388probably because it's impractical, would be nicer if you can show off your pretty ducati while being able to use it everyday. The supersport looks alot better than the panigale, idk I don't like the new panigale compared to the older ones, it's less slim and sleek.

I remember when I was at the biggest motorcycle show in the world their is, EICMA, year 2016 in the late fall. Ducati announced and showed the Supersport 939 for the first time and it was to be released and sold for the first time in the spring of 2017. Anyways it actually won the price for being the most beautiful bike that year. Some people are trash talking the supersport, but I have always loved it since I saw it the first time at that motorcycle show. I only wish Ducati had chose another less confusing name for the model and that they increase the engine size of this bike at least 60CC to 1000CC so it got like 130 hp and 110 NM torque, that would make it perfect and make it go faster than bikes like the MT-09 for example and that would make it perfect I think, especially for a bit bigger guys like me. I also love that Ducati did not raise the handle bars too much like many other bikes like this have nowadays. This riding position is how a real sport touring bike should be, not all the weight on your ass and sitting like a sail in the wind straight up with your back, that just sucks. The semi-aggressive riding position of bikes like the Supersport S, Aprilia RS 660, Ninja H2SX are really where it is at for me, low enough clip ons to feel sporty and lean more into the wind, but still higher up than supersports/trackbikes to make it much more comfortable to ride longer on. I hope they either make this Supersport S bike a bit more powerful or that they make another model a long side this one that is more powerful. Off-topic, I also hope Honda makes their VFR800F that this Supersport bike is kind of copied from again, and that Honda put a stronger V4 Engine in their bike and make it lighter to be more like the Ducati Supersport. We need more really sporty touring bikes like these!
