I make different kind of videos such as lore explanations, speedrun analyses and different kind of gaming video essays. Trying to be as unbiased as possible. Buckle up, let's dive together into the journey.
I beat the game in 52 minutes and 38 seconds... This is only because I killed a basic enemy and it gave me one of the strongest weapons in the game for reasons I have no idea
Turrets help take care of the flags most of the time for me so I rarely have issues with them, unless I am running a brutality build which is when I don't carry turrets.
THIS!!! Exactly what I been looking for. Very on point! Lots of cool 'tips and guilds' videos on RU-vid be like talking about the fancy stuff such as the combinations of gears, the combinations of affixes and whatnot. But the actual core factor, the hidden hero that nobody expect is... RUN. Even in those mentioned videos we can see constant running, but usually do not pay attention since the message is about something else. Problem with beginners is that they make the most inherent mistake of gamers: You see enemies, you smash! Even I, at 2BC, still commit to that up until the moment of this comment. Dead Cells is by no mean an easy roguelike game. The higher the BC, the more unforgiving it becomes. Just a few touches and you are done. Parry is certainly important, but even if we are good at it, we will eventually screw up when facing a mob or boss. Armadillopack is also an amazing invention, but it is situational. Sometimes it can actually even limit the options to escape. Afraid of moving to unknown areas, or having to reply on map too much, is also the biggest obstacle that prevents us to run freely. Now I finally get it. The basic ingredients are: Roll, Run, Jump, and Parry. Throw everything you have at them in the process and/or find a sweet spot where you feel confident to hit them with the main weapon. After you're done in a sector full of enemy, you can check the map. I will have to try what I have just realized in the next run.
Pro-tip for newbies: Just because you have weapons that deal incredible damage (example: 3000-5000 DPS) or the odd 10000 DPS, I strongly urge you to, no matter how good you think your weapons are, ALWAYS swap them out at around Ramparts to when you first enter Clock Tower. The weapons you previously thought were good will not help you that much when progressing further. If you can beat Time Keeper with them without getting hit, keep them, if not, scrap 'em.
Waiiit a minute.. that last scene with Gman.. it was like we were in a VR simulation the hole time and Gman, the Business Owner (or Alien boss/employee/supervisor), ended the "experiement" since we successfully finished it. After that, he went outside the simulatiom room, where we are imprisoned(?). Maybe we are heavily on drugs.. or after we beat the first HL boss, they (our former company and boss Gman) wanted to do experiments with us
@@Carnifier Well you've clearly never played the game then. No, you do not need to buy the blueprints! You just get them as enemy item drops! You use the cells to pay the collector or his assistant for the items on them. Stay in school kid.
@@DDiez15 That's literally what I'm saying, you need the cells to unlock the blueprints once you get them from enemies. I've not only played the game but have beaten the game on 5 boss cells. And what do you mean stay in school? You have to be trolling lol..
@@Carnifier No, it is not literally what you're saying. Do you know what literal means? What you literally said was "You need cells to buy the blueprints". You know how I know that is literally what you said? Because I just copied and pasted it from your original unedited post. You said you BUY the blueprints, which is not true. After I corrected you, you probably went and read the Dead Cells Wiki and realized you don't "buy" blueprints but instead unlock their items with cells cause you clearly don't know the game.
The way i picked up deadcells was interesting, I have a ps4 and I didn't see that the white outline was not on the game I was tryna get and I wasn't paying attention so I accidently download dead cells and when I tried it I realized it's the wrong game but I found out the game was better than any horror game, or any game at all
In the second phase when he does the spike thing, I do exactly what the video says and when the spikes are gone and I land in the ground, I still get hit by the spikes somehow
