Heard about you while watching Caroline from Evertotes. I thought, two stitchers from PEI?! I've got to watch them! Loved your video. I 100% love your Canada Swaps plan. Keeping it simple and limiting the extras so no one feels they can't meet hyped up expectations. Love it so much! I hope someday to visit the "Land of Anne" and meet you two for lunch! But until then, you have a new subscriber.
Just found you, so i am watching from the beginning. I am just over in Nova Scotia. I went to Stitch North in 2023 and 2024. I loved seeing your projects. Great first video. Very fun.
Yes! I loved being part of this swap. First time for me and definitely won’t be my last. Thanks so much ladies for organizing this for us all. 💗. I can’t wait for March.
Love this. I love the ‘buddy’ floss tubes where I feel as though we are chatting across the kitchen table. I am binge watching you to get the whole story!
So great to see you gals again. Sorry for your loss Michelle. Love all your stitching, Wish you gals were closer to Montague so we could get together and stitch. Have a great summer,
Hi I am a New Subscriber to your Channel. I found your Channel through Karen The Stitching Owl. I have Subscribed to your Channel. I have a Floss Tube Channel called Linda Klinedinst. Love all of your WIPS and Finishes. Everything is so pretty. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏☕️🐿️🍁🍂☀️🧵🪡🧵❤️
Ladies! How did I miss the notification for this video. I knew I was behind on floss tubes but didn’t realize that I was that far behind! My apologies 💗 Thanks so much for such a great video! I’m looking forward for another video (and hopefully I catch it sooner 😂) I’m definitely involved in the Canada Swaps exchange! I won’t lie, I’m a bit nervous about it but hey….. Take care and happy stitching! 💗💓💕
Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family. I hope all goes well with the wedding and you all make happy memories. I have sent an email to Karen that I will not be able to do Canada Swaps which is unforunate. Happy stitching to both of you.
Oh darn! I missed the all the dancing and talking :) That's what I get for not staying caught up haha. Congrats on 1K girls!! Well deserved. You are so much fun to listen to while I get a few stitches in.
Thank you for the video. Really enjoyed watching you two. I’ve signed up for the Canadian Swap such a great idea I’m glad both of you and Karen have taken this on. Christmas
So happy to see you back! I’d love to come to the island for a visit, maybe someday! Enjoyed seeing all your projects. I’m planning some Christmas stitching for this month. Hopefully I can get to a couple Christmas wips. Looking forward to the swap!
@@TheTwoBayStitchers there was a time I came to the island a couple times a year as my sister lived in Murray River. But that was several years ago. We used to go to the Needle Nut in Charlottetown to buy Crosstitch supplies.
Hi guys! 👋🏼 so happy to see a video from you 🙌🏼 great finishes and wips and fun things to work on. I have the Halloween Quaker that I'm trying to work on also so maybe I'll join in with you guys stitching it lol... did you say you guys stitch on it on certain days of the week?
Hey Sandy! Definitely join us in stitching Halloween Quaker. We are aiming to finish a full page every 2 months. It's one of my favorite Halloween designs. Happy stitching! 🩷
It was wonderful to see you both back! I didn't even realize that much time had passed on the video because you really kept it all about the stitching, and I just love that😊. Both of you showed such fantastic pieces! I loved seeing it all. I'm a big fan of the BosStitchers too, and yes, what you see is what you get with them. They are so much fun and so down to earth. I'll be seeing them at a retreat here in about a week or so, and am so looking forward to sharing some laughs and stitching with them 😊. Sheryll, did I hear you correctly? You are stitching that PS Santa in the yellow fisherman's coat multiple times? You and Chris must have had a lot to talk about then 😂. Michelle, I'm so sorry for the loss in your family. It's just a terrible thing to go through. It gets easier with time, but wow, it can really knock you down and keep you there for a while when it happens. Sending prayers to you and your family. I hope your daughter has a lovely day for her wedding, and that you all have a wonderful time celebrating!
Glad to see you back, I have missed you. Michelle sorry for your loss, may her memory be a blessing. Enjoy your daughter’s wedding and I hope you both have a wonderful summer.
Hi Michelle - I was sorry to hear about your recent loss. I did not know about it before because I am not on Instagram. I guess everyone else who was able to send condolences earlier found out about it there. And good luck with your daughter's wedding. It will be a bright and joyful counterpart to what you have just experienced. I hope you have a Bright Christmas in July bout of stitching before Michelle gets too busy with her daughter's wedding. I guess you write your plans in water - or would that be better in something stronger. I usually drown my plans in something stronger. 🤭🤣😂😛
Thank you so much Nicole. I didn't really share it publicly unless I got a direct message from a stitchy friend so please do not feel bad! We are excited for the wedding. Lots of joy to focus on. I definitely write my plans in water. Ever changing but that's part of the fun for me. Happy stitching! 🩷
I am so glad to see the two of you back on Flosstube. Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss. And I LOVE your shirts. Like you all, I am starting to think of fall stitching. Right now I am working on Olga's Stocking by Plum Street. I have a retreat next week so I am saving some fill in work to do while I am there. Happy Stitching!!
Hey Arlene! We are happy to be back sharing our love of stitching! I love Olga's stocking and have it all ready to start soon! I adore stitching fall! Enjoy your retreat! Happy stitching! 🩷
Hello Michelle & Sheryll from Hamilton, Ontario! I'm so glad to have found your Flosstube. It was a pathway that started when I was watching Arica who mentioned the Canada Swap which led me to Karen (stitching owl) & you two! Yay fellow Canadians!! And thrilled to hear of the swap, thank you all for organizing this. Your stitching is gorgeous & very much many of my stitching preferences. I had the pleasure of visiting PEI in June 2023 for a nurses union convention. It was a great week in PEI! Sending condolences & prayers to you & yours Michelle for your loss. And to you as well Sheryll....friends can feel a friend's journey through this process.
Hi Maureen. We are so glad you found us. We are really excited about the smalls exchange. It is wonderful to be meeting so many Canadian stitchers! Happy stitching! 🩷
I'm so happy you're back. You were missed. Condolences Michelle to you and your family. I'm looking forward to the swap. It's been years since I've done one. Karen emailed me, and I sent her my address. Sheryll, you were here and weren't in touch? Shame on you 😉 Beautiful stitching ladies. Michelle I'm starting to agree with start everything, I've got 48/55 on my list for next year. Sheryll, I follow Helen Daley's tutorial for bags, and if I can do it, anyone can, but she doesn't use vinyl. I have October 31st and plan to start it in January, I've already stitched 2 in the series. Watching your video has made my day bright -er and please don't mention the word Christmas, shopping for a teenage boy is impossible 😅
Hey Deanne we are so glad to be back. We are so excited for the swap! I love that you're doing all those starts! I'm looking forward to seeing your progress/finishes. I can relate to the Christmas shopping for boys it can be challenging. Happy stitching! 🩷
Deanne you are a gem! It was a quick trip to St John’s for meetings. I hurt my leg walking up the hills, but loved the scenery. I’ll look you up next time for sure. Happy stitching 🧵
I'm so glad that you both were able to make another flosstube! It's wonderful to see all of your beautiful projects, even if it's only a few stitches. You have to start somewhere. I've also had startitis! I have a couple of Christmas projects to start and then more summer/autumn, lol. Hope you have a great time at the wedding and then a more relaxing summer before it's over. Take care and keep stitching!
Hey Doreen, what would we do without starts! Lol! I'm getting very excited about the wedding but will be glad to have a quieter August. Hope all is well with you! Happy stitching! 🩷
So nice to see you both again😊 Love all the beautiful pieces you're stitching. Michelle, condolences to you and your family. Best wishes for the upcoming wedding. Sheryll, are you in competition with Chris to see who can stitch the most fisherman Santas?😂
So enjoyed your video and hearing all your great plans! It helps me push through my current WIP so I can get started on something new again. Lots more ideas coming from both of you. ❤
Very glad to see you back and glad you took the time you need - that’s important! Lovely finishes and wips! I am also a great lover of bags 😂. So many fun pans on the horizon! Can’t wait to see what you all have next!
I buy a lot from The Stitch Bug in Moncton. If it’s something really particular I’ll look at Traditional Stitches but it could take a year to get. The Stitch Bug is great because they will cut to size. Happy stitching 🧵
There are different places in Canada I buy from for linen. Embroidery Marketplace, Creative Quarters, Hand Dyed by Rolanda, Traditional Stitches to name a few. I have also purchased from 123 stitch.
You can get hand dyed linen from Evertote in London, Ontario. It is dyed by Kerri, owner of Roxy Floss Co. She also dyes floss and they are truly lovely. The names are often tongue in cheek which is fun.
Hi So glad to see you back. I am heading over to PEI for a retreat in July if they get enough people. Maybe there is some chance some of us from the retreat could meet up with you. If you can it would be great. I can email you once I get there and maybe we can arrange something. Sorry for your loss to your family. I would love to have a zoom with you. Glad to see you met the lady from Bosstitchers. I met her at a retreat in Maine and she mentioned she was going to PEI. I'm glad she did get there.
@TheTwoBayStitchers I'm sorry I didn't get to meet with you while I was over in PEI. I didn't have a car while I was at the retreat so I couldn't make plans to meet anyone. I will next time I go . Happy Stitching
Welcome Back Friends - so good to see you - loved every minute of your video!. Loving thoughts and prayers to you Michelle and your family in your loss. Looking so forward to a Zoom whenever you guys are ready. Take good care ❤
Unfortunately, July is just crazy this year with my daughter's wedding. Is this retreat open to everyone? Would love to put it on the calendar for next year. Will you be attending it? Happy stitching!🩷
@TheTwoBayStitchers I am hoping to but if they don't get enough they will be canceling. I also have a great grandson coming in July soI am waiting on him too. I may need to look after the other 2 while their Mom is in the hospital. Have a great long weekend.
Hello ladies, I’m really late to the party, lol. I’ve been working on 20 count Aida, it’s so much easier on the eyes than 40 count. . Hand Dyed by Rolanda is out of Toronto & she has some 20 count in stock, she will also do custom dying .
