Another enjoyable video. That Winter is Past piece looks gorgeous. And, regarding your fabric choice, you are SO right that if you don't love it, change it! For Cross Stitch Camp my "new to me" was 18 count Aida, and it has been a challenge with every stitch. The problem is not the count, it's that the Picture This Plus fabric is sooo super soft that the holes are so easy to miss. I'm sticking it out, but really not enjoying it at all.
So much fun! Thank you for sharing! My go-to fabric is 40ct. But I have found that it is certain dyers, too, especially since transitioning to stitching in hand. XJuDesign and Needle & Flax are my faves. I love PTP and FoaW colors, but the 40 seems to be too tight for in-hand - but I love how tiny my stitches are! As you both said, it’s about the joy. 😊 So I choose the fabrics I enjoy most. 💚Michele
