It looks like a great dill, but I had 3 failures in 3 different pistals. I tried to contact remington and get no response. One bullet didn't have enough powder, and the 3:39 bullet got stuck in the barrel. Luck for my wife it would not load another.
Good video. However, too fast and too jerky with the camera. I’ll have to watch it a few times to better understand. This is a difficult gun to breakdown and reassemble. More difficult than my 1911. If I’d have known how complex the breakdown was, i I would have passed on the purchase.
Louis-Nicolas Flobert was an inventor who came up with the idea of putting just a lead ball on top of a percussion cap without gunpowder. He essentially invented the first self-contained metallic cartridge. He named it the 6mm Flobert. He marketed it as an indoor pest-shooting cartridge. Sherlock Holmes owned and shot one of these "parlor pew pews" inside his home to practice his aim.
I can get 2 keltec's for the price of 1 Glock. I can get 16 rds compared to 10 rds. I don't or never have owned a Glock in any caliber and don't think I ever will. I will stick with the underdog..
Won a buckmark in a raffle. Best $5 ive spent. Replaced those godawful grips with black checkered rubber and put red dot on. Live in the country in mississippi. Take it everywhere i go on the farm. Great gun!
Great comparison video, well made and articulate. I thought the PPQ was striker fire, I was wrong, SA though. I ordered the P22Q a few days ago, miss shooting .22 lr. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for the video!! I wasn't raised a round guns and my parents outright despise them. But I really wanted to learn more about ir for my own safety, and maybe someday get into real training. As a complete beginner, your info was amazing!!!
I put about 200 rounds of CCI AR TACTICAL, through mine yesterday. Ate it like candy, had 2 times the slide dosnt close all the way, easy fix, just push it closed. I like this pistol. And it's worked just like I hoped. It did not like Federal auto match, but I think that ammo is crap anyway, it didn't work well in my pump 22 either. And that thing eats almost any ammo..lots of tft rounds.
I have the TX22 and I very pleased. I didn't feel the need for another22lr...until Taurus came out with the competition. I'm now interested in the longer barrel. What a wonderful pistol this is.
Great for starters.I think the loud noise bothers most beginners, when I have my ears on the boom, that scares people is gone.My wife started with a co2 bb gun. When she fired my .45 she flinched,a common problem, easily fixed,as it has much to do with loud report.VERY GOOD VIDEO,BEGINNERS ARE NOT STUPID,I LIKE THAT YOU TREAT US WITH RESPECT.I WAS A PATROLMAN,I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TO NEW PEOPLE..NOTHING IS A BAD QUESTION,WHEN YOU ARE NEW TO FIREARMS.ITS TOO IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF US.THANKS FOR SIMPLICITY,I HAVE TOLD BEGINNERS YOU ARE THE VIDEO TO START WITH.
Thanks! Better lubrication alone made the differenence in my X22. It is still ammo fussy. Some old Fededral .22s from the local uuiversity's former indoor range work best. They are round nose hollow points. Turcated ammo with a cone nose is a no go.
About those pins, I'm going to say that you were trying to drive the knurling, which is backward. Drive from left to right to remove, re install tapered end first and seat from right to left. Good video, thank you.
