That's really interesting, generally, we tend to be asymmetrical so it is not uncommon for muscles on one side of your body to be larger or smaller than the other. It shouldn't really be a problem unless it is causing pain. If you try the exercises let me know how it goes.
I have bad TMJ and sometimes the basic exercises don't work. I was looking for something that was helpful and this popped up! I especially like the cheek massage 👍🏽
