Tensor fascia latae this muscle assists in balancing of the pelvis while standing, walking, or running. Tension and trigger points in this muscle can cause deep hip pain and pain down the side of the leg towards the knee.
Remember that these practices are generally suited to all, but it is up to you as an individual to assess whether you are ready for the class that you have chosen. If you suffer from a specific injury or are managing a condition please remember that it is up to you whether or not a practice is right for you.

Nice Ana, I’ve done a lot of work on my TFL in the past which really helped with IT band issues relating to outer edge of the knee. Was amazing.

My right TFL seems to be bigger than the left Would you recommend these exercises to help even it?

That's really interesting, generally, we tend to be asymmetrical so it is not uncommon for muscles on one side of your body to be larger or smaller than the other. It shouldn't really be a problem unless it is causing pain. If you try the exercises let me know how it goes.
