This is my first time hearing it. But I was raised on Sir Richard Burton and the band sounds so familiar and I must googole the rest. Thank you so much!
You have got to be kidding me right and or you in some kind of denial just take a peak out side of your window and not just late last night and or very early tis morning, there just sat amongst us do you not think, to the idea of being alone. all together
This song has carried me since i was a little girl… We studied War of the worlds in Primary 3 in Scotland 🙏 Never has it left my side, this and The Spirit of Man have been my constant 💛 Love Richard Burtons tone 🙏
No one would’ve believed in the last years of the 19th century that humidifiers are being watched by which inhabited the timeless world is space you may consider the possibility of life on the plants
I've been on live conserts of Pink Floyd. But i'm ready to give my live right here and right now to hear it in my own on a live concert!!!! The best rock opera ever!
Can you imagine, that after hearing that song, ive decided the became a warship constructer. Happy childhood with Jeff Wayne and Pink Floyd. Ever greatest masterpiece!!!!
This is the song of my early childhood. It was the first audio cassette i've heard. My father bring it to me from the England. I was seven years old. Till the present time, there is no such a masterpiece like this. Jeff Wayne, it is the greatest rock opera for all time!
Im with you on this. I was a similar age [8yrs!]. It was the first storybook cassette I listened to. Yes, it was a concept album, but to an 8yr old it was a story with music. I was mesmerised. I listened to it with one of my brothers and we were both silent in his bedroom for the whole time. One of the best moments of my childhood memory. Being transported into a world of fear then hope then triumph!
"Again, i was on my way to London through towns and villages that were blackened ruins, totally silent- desolate, deserted. Man's empire had passed away, taken swiftly and without error by these creatures who were composed entirely of brain. Unhampered by the complex systems which made up man, they made and used different bodies according to their needs. They never tired, never slept, and never suffered, having long since eliminated from their planet the bacteria which cause all fever and other morbidities." >knows all of the martians are in london >continues going towards london
