When I play this game for the first time I chose axton and really fell into that trap of oh only certain gear is good at UVHM like I suck at this game I'm relying on the B and the sandhawk for everything. Then I deep dived on all of axton skills and synergies and learned how busted he was with explosives and how many weapons in the game were boosted by grenade damage and really started to take advantage of that and it totally changed the way I played axton and changed my way of looking at UVHM and op levels. No matter what game you play and no matter what character you play just figure out what works best with that character and then tweak it to work for you.
Nice video, if I may say that she is not that bad of character because I played as her at one point in time, and her skill tree I can max her out entirely and she's good at everything but the first thing I invest in is her orderd chaos and then go from there.
I love that you bring attention to the fact that anything is viable if you understand the game mechanics. UVHM is super easy. Slag, and match elements to enemies, and score criticals whenever you can, and take advantage of the synergies with weapons and skills. It's so simple but people sometimes are brain dead playing these kinds of games.
This comment section is filled with idiots. Imagine using the strategy of “Oh Axton is the weakest? No no it’s the all the other vault hunters who have problems!” to defend Axton.
The claws capstone is so stupid "Yeah lets run up dircetly in front of the enemy to do a slightly boosted melee attack instead of using the close range to shoot them with my gun which already gets a 3 times higher per stack damage increase than my stupid melee attack

I wish you would do one with the guns that are Cryo weapons? i’m 72 years old and I’m playing his games at least once a year I think you knew I like this character but I just didn’t know how to skill her up so I would always end up Quitting when you got into the later stages of the game. Anyway thanks again good job.🎉
Does anyone know where and when the Jakobs Iron drops in game? I got one along the way as I made my way to Sanctuary after it went airborne, and another in the chest under the train stop while farming the Maggie, but I would like to know a reliable location.
@@Derchlands exactly, if you're playing zero around having your shields down you usually wanna use a legendary hunter, cooldown relic of some kind (usually blood of the ancients), and I'd say in this case a good rolled kitten, as well as a rough rider
Super old but I love coming back. Sub-Sequence would be amazing if it was a one point game changer, gave you wreck/chain reaction/etc even while searching a new target and immediately looks for a new target after phase locking an enemy who can't be picked up. Even if it wasn't one point I'd dump all five in just to get wreck on boss fights.
Very detailed. I really appreciate all the information you have on all the characters. I feel like most videos just give very brief descriptions and don’t get into the details and how they will affect gameplay. I’m getting into borderlands pretty late, but I’m definitely enjoying it. Maybe next time wait to do videos until you don’t have a cough though. I could barely get through this video because of all the coughing and how close you sit to the microphone. I’m not trying to be mean. I really like a lot of your videos and I’m playing as Maya and really want to listen to this video, but it’s rough. Other than that I do really appreciate all the detailed information on the skills and equipment and how it all works together.
Yeah, I use phaseserker for my Subsequence Maya-like Amara. It's not bad but It doesn't feel like a legendary class mod so little boost, so little sinergy. you're right
in game cold war is good all it takes is one dot to give you the chance to freeze. and how often do you only apply one dot, a storm front will apply so any dots it will also freeze the enemy, not just apply a cryo dot, anytime you can use one element and get the effects of another that is a good skill. love you derch but you are wrong about cold war
While I think the omen is supposed to have more damage than the blockhead the firing pattern is not as consistent and annoyingly situational. Personally I like the blockhead more for the same reason I like the conference call over the Interfacer, positioning

It really sucks that the algorithm favors puma. Anytime I search anything bl2 on RU-vid I’m always met with his videos for 1-5. He seems well to do, but he has no imagination. He’s a meta guy, that unfortunately gets the attention of devs. Because he and those like him don’t speak for the majority of players. Perfect example, he immediately starts talking about raids, which is only about 5% of the actual game
I'm playing TPS for the first time rn. And I'm using her. So far I'm Having a BLAST!! Going with her Huntress tree bcus I'm all about sniping. Can someone tell me if the pitchfork sniper works with this tree? since there's multiple bullets being shot so... So all of them may not hit the target.
I come back to the Borderlands 2 videos every so often, just to have some background noise while I play. This channel really had some great content and I am forever grateful that you made the content that you did. There never will be another creator like you. To this day if you google “rarest gun in borderlands 2” you will still see posts on this gun. Just from old forum posts but I want to know where this myth actually started from
