Kitty and Artie should have ended together. Tina and Artie should just have stayed friends. Edit: I also loved Brittany and Artie together if Santana and Brittany wouldn't be a thing.
Has anyone else noticed the hypocrisy of the glee girls? When people didn't want to do Britney or Whitney because they were bad role models the girls jumped on the seperate the art from the artist bandwagon but the second its someone they dont like its no you can't seperate the art from the artist
I definitely can relate to Jake and was on his side in this scene! I also hate Chris Brown as a person, he is without a doubt a psycho scumbag! But the dude has talent!
I hate it when people do this kind of thing. They all made an argument and when he used their words against them they were going ”it’s not the same cause I like those artists so it doesn’t count!”
this episode annoyed the hell out of me. they’ve done a chris brown song before (rachel & finn), they song blurred lines, they song a Marvin Gaye song, they song kiss by prince, they did nicki minaj, and they did imagine by john lennon. so yes they overreacted and were very hypocritical!!
I find it funny how Marley leaves the conversation by going to talk to someone else, when really she giving Jake time to think about what she just said.
So no one is gonna talk about how jake equated a freaking abuser and misogynist to female artists that were promiscuous and mentally ill??? As if they’re the same thing???? I was with him until he said that and victim blamed Rihanna.
Glee only touched on this because everyone else was talking about the Chris Brown and Rhianna thing 😂 I remember when this episode appeared, I was like ummm why is this in here
No one pushed Artie more than Kitty, they should have been endgame. Tina and Artie ending up together, along with Rachel and Jessie ending up together was lazy writing
i know they leave together to go back to her car, but i feel like that’s where their whole smug act ends. seriously i feel like these two characters would get into the car and start crying about their personal struggles.
Now, I don't like Chris Brown for what he did to his girlfriend but part of me sees what Jake is saying. I mean, Lindsay Lohan has made mistakes in her past but I'm still a huge Lindsay fan. It is important to seperate the art from the artist. However, I can also side with the girls on this too, Chris Brown is not one of the worlds greatest people. Also, this is hard to watch knowing that Melissa Benoist (Marley) was abussed by her ex-husband.
These scenes are perfect examples of why in this case, you should NEVER separate the character from the actor. I’m sick of glee “fans” not knowing how Puck and Mark are literal child rap!sts. It was one of the few things I learned from the show. Some people just need to stop and research for a second. Or else they end up looking stupid.
