My name is Joseph. I started learning guitar in 2013 during high school, and like many, practiced on and off. I have learned many things along the way.
My passion is to help you in your own guitar journey with the best tips and gear.
On this channel, you will find guitar gear reviews posted every week. I am committed to post at least one video a week, but sometimes I will post more.
I may not know everything there is about guitar or guitar gear, but my goal is to present the gear as best I can to help you make a decision on what to get and to encourage people to make more music. Eventually, I hope to post more music content. I believe guitar is a beautiful instrument to learn and I am glad you decided to go on this journey to experience all the guitar gear out there with me.
If you are ready to discover gear that will help in your guitar journey, then make sure to subscribe and say hello in the comments.
Thanks! I know this is three years later, but I just received the FMM as a gift. In case it helps anyone reading this now, your Windows connection instructions got me pointed in the right direction. With the amp plugged in via USB cable, I had to go to "manage sound devices". The FMM appeared on the page as disabled. I enabled it and was then able to record using Audacity.
Dude! You really helped me. You doing a demo on all 3 fx for the chorus , delay and reverb presets helped me to differentiate more clearly. Thanks. Quick question. I imagine when it starts the effects...chorus is first and then delay and so on. However, when u get the one beep, then two and finally 3 for one effect...i press again and get 1 beep. Is that just automatically going to the next effect or starting over again in the same field? Cheers man.
OK, so this might be a weird question but on my amp I have an MIDI in/output. I do not have an audio output, but I do have the MIDIN/output so would I have to get some kind of MIDI in or output to an audio jack to get this to work on my amp?
wait, so how exactly do you recommend to connect it to Windows for recording? Cause I'm having issues with the high latency and when I set the buffersize down it completely cracks up and doesn't even sound like a guitar at all anymore. I know the issue can't come from my laptop cause it's a very strong one and always worked just fine with my Focusrite interface, even on low buffersizes. I appreciate any help - thanks! :)
No offense, but your guitar sounds really out of tune. Otherwise the video is actually good, it shows the amplifier well. This amp looks cute, I have the Champion 100 Amp. It would be fun to have a mini version that looks similar :D
you saved my life with your tutorial about the connection problems. Sometimes, it seems like no one encounters the same problem as me when it comes to computers
Thank you so much for doing these videos! They helped me to choose which amp to get and were very informative. I tried to choose with other longer video but it felt like the guy did just want to show how they play. In your videos you actually focus on the amp and show which settings are on and so on! Tbh when i saw your face i instantly got the feeling that "this guy is gonna be precise with the info!" And then you were! ❤
Thanks for the honest review, there are so many paid "honest" reviews... I am viewing your video 3 yrs out. do you still use yours and did they ever address some of the issues you mentioned ?
Hi! if I wanna connect my headphones Vox amp to my phone (Android) to record the sound, what cable should I use? will it work? I just started playing so I'm pretty ignorant on the topic😅
