We are a New Zealand live-aboard family of five: Rob (60), Rachel (21-ish), Finn (21), Declan (19), Ivan (16) circumnavigating nomadically by sail boat learning from nature, new cultures and life experience. We hope to inspire others to explore different ways to live and educate while having a truckload of fun. Our sailing videos are almost at the fringe of the cutting edge of informative travel entertainment confirming life is far too important to take seriously.

Congrats to those who won. I’m sure they will have the time of their lives. You guys make sailing look so inviting with all of your adventures and the interesting and beautiful places you visit. Thanks for sharing!
What a beautiful hike and view. I'm sure Declan is missing it somewhat while off on new adventures. Perhaps he will return with the flexible baton featured in his video to fend of intruders! The heat exchanger was interesting as we use something similar in Canada in our houses but for the opposite reason. In winter the exchanger brings in fresh cold dry air which is warmed up by the outgoing moist warm air as it passes through a large cube.
A bit dicey looking, and sounding, sail. But if it gets you across to the mainland it will do. Now it will be remembered by all those who see you flying it!

wait, my name isn't Amanda or Brinley. anywho, congrats to the winners I hope you have a wonderful time, and survive any crazy cooking Rob does. Pet the kitty for all of that cannot.
I get a lot out of the segments that include boat work. Thanks for putting out such good content. I'm looking forward to your Tanzania travels, as that is on our list of places to visit as well.
Another great video, kind of a scary looking sail but we can hope that it works out alright all the way. Congrats to the winners of the trip of a lifetime. Great fix it job to Rob. Way to go Finn.
Well done to the couple who won. Interesting about the person checking out the boat. I can't find the details, but I think Delos, may have been a similar location when it happened to them. I think.? Good news for you Finn. There are very generous people out there. Thanks again C.K's for sharing. Loving it. Take care.
In the Navy we used bug juice for the de scaling of parts. It was basically a powdered fruit drink without the sugar. Did Ivan ever fix his leaky window in his cabin.
I really like your channel. You're real, don't fake drama, no click bait BS T&A thumbnails, no dumb stare into the camera and try to sell garbage. You're what made Delos popular before they turned dull and predictable. Heading to Patreon to check you out. Time to dump some of the posers and send you some $$.
Thank you HH, although, to be honest, we have been accused of clickbait thumbnails and that may well have been correct 🙄Unfortunately T&A and clickbait gets you noticed.
Into every sail a little ?????????? . i was going somewhere with that LOL. Let us all pray that the replacement sail gets you to the Port! Good to see that Finn's request has been met :). Ivan did a great job. Ttfn
Congrats to the lucky winners on the draw sailing with the CruisingKiwis. Great video. Yeah Victoria in the Seychelles is known for crime with the boats and resorts just be aware. And not necessarily heading away from Asia is worse in crime. I think every where has issues and that being aware of who's around. I know of other channels just kept someone behind on their boat when coming ashore. What's most important nothing happened every thing is okay. That sail I wouldn't pay any thing for it. I think 1st coming of winds over 12 knots sail will rip apart. And I guess we'll not know that until you use it. Looking forward to next video cheers
While Nahoa were in this exact anchorage they had night visitors to the boat, whom they scared off. We have upped our security awareness since leaving Thailand.
We missed our first weather window, trying to get this sail organised. We have a few more weeks in Seychelles then we’re off. 99% sure we will be rounding the cape early next year.
Its still so beautiful i dont think some people know about Mauritius and Seychelles. Thanks for sharing and congratulations to the winners of the competition
@@TheCruisingKiwis I only wish I had a video recording when the end played, Brinley's reaction was priceless, she jumped up and down screaming like crazy, we won, we won!!
And then this came up, it was fantastic, just loved it, and Sir Ivan with his cheese grater, and to top it off with " Do we have any more cheese" its a classic, but then y'all are so brilliant, love it. Got to share this again.
As an aside you may not have got the joke we gave the aussies when Rob did the bowl along the ground. Highlighted one of the most controversial bad sport moments in the history of cricket. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TtaWtAxHVsw.htmlsi=0WDA5lVUdfMf9RI9
understandable. Bowling is only over arm. They used some technicality to bowl underarm making it impossible for nz to score the last runs and seal the match.
This just popped up on my screen, and I love it, again. I remember when this happened, what a fantastic job of editing, and Declan took the ribbing in good style, and yes, I am going to have to share this, again.
