I own a 2008 350z Nismo that I recently purchased year of 2021. I own a 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS turbo that ive owned since 2014. I plan on purchasing the new 400z 2022 and bring it to the channel.
I love the nismo but there is no reason they should cost over 30k for just body kit and exhaust. I got a 08 and was thinking about just getting the front and rear bumper. The rear one is the best part.
NEVER EVER underestimate the turbo charged Cobalt SS even stock. If you think that RS sounds good, open up the exhaust on your Cobalt, I have an 09 Cobalt SS with the Z54 and basic supporting mods with 3" straight piped and resonator, and NO OTHER FOUR BANGER EVEN COMES CLOSE to the sound it produces, oh and by the way, it put an RS in the dirt pretty handily. It doesn't have to have a bigger turbo to make that sound either just open up the exhaust. Stay out of the throttle and it's quite tame but when you let the turbo spool up it's GAME ON. Fortunate enough to have both. Audi is similar: stage II tune, but Nissan is stock DE. This went about like I expected, lol, but the Nissan is raw and a blast to drive. I do wish the Z had a bit more go, but what fun it is.

Just plug in a code reader. The programmer will pop up that it's a nismo pack Also this depends. Because the 04 wasnt called nismo. That started in 07. I have an 04 and it was code read, it has a nismo pack and has the bar over the engine bay but none of the badges other than on the back.
I know painting plastic can be a pain in the ass. I tried to paint four wheeler plastic and it went on good. But bubbled and flaked and looked like shit. After you painted and cut to the car and had the windshield reflector at first it looked like your windshield was busted, I was like wtf happened? 😂😅. Took a second to register what I was looking at 🤣
Do the air filters touch the radiator? I put my cold air intake on my 350Z and after setting in my air filter, it slightly touches the radiator. They say the filters are not supposed to touch it.
Im looking into a 350z nismo that was imported from the u.s, the guy gave me the vin but when I searched it up on carfax it labels it as a grand touring. The car has the whole body kit, seats, nismo dash, and the plaque with the number on it by the shifter.. could this be a mistake by nissan when registering it? its number #217 of the 1600 nismos made btw.
Go into the 350 nismo group in Facebook and post if anyone owns the 217 nismo. … you can also call Nissan directly and provide the vin, they will tell u if it’s a nismo
Can you place the intakes above the medal bracket or they have to go under the medal bracket the way u have them? Because I wanted to do above the medal bracket but would my bumper still fit or no?
