Sorry man but you got a good sized jump both races. Great editing and footage but not a clear representation of both cars performance. When my car was just stage 1 with a intake it trapped 114mph consistently with no TCU tune. I've yet to see a 350 trap that high without a blower/nitrous. Obviously the audi pulling you in the first race shows that. Either way good footage!
I believe there were clean runs... but that’s all part of the game. It will never be perfect runs but it was clean. If u want to see me jump go watch my race against the type r. That’s jumping clearly .. thanks bro 👍
My car is Stage 1.. Not sure what else the S4 owner has besides a tune and X pipe. I have added APR Intake, Down Pipe, and full AWE Exhaust and I know I am pushing about 390AWH... My crank HP is around 440ish. From a Dig, the car is a beast, and the S6, S7 is even better, and a Stock RS7, or if you can find one an RS6 is freakish Stock! Good races. I have to admit the new generation Z's coming out look badass.
8k in maintenance in a yr on a 2014!? wtf thought I was bout to make a slick move and save $$$ switching from a 335xi n54 to a S4 b8.5 with low mi and decent dsg records but sounds sketchy
8k is a bit extreme. I have a 2014 s4 and at 74k miles and only thing that I has gone bad on it is the thermostat and ac blower. Im about to bring it to a shop and get an underblower service done to it for preventative measures which replaces a lot of the known faulty parts from audi like pcv, water pump, thermostat, and that still only ran me 2k

@@certifiedwetmilk3951 I think the cobalt would play catch up and maybe reel the z in but cobalts stock power band is very linear so it’s hard to predict... I think the z wins against my stock cobalt .

Yeah but I don't suggest looking for another S4. All stage 1 tunes are not the same. One guy from the UK got a tune from an American company and went from a 12.9 (stock) to a 12.1 in the 1/4mile. This guy needs a better tune and a TCU tune. With this, the only way the Z could win is by forced induction or spray the piss out if it. And this would only help for a stage 1 tune. Anything higher, and it's pretty much not gonna win. Props go the Z, cause if the Audi had no SC, it would have no chance.
Great video! I do suggest maybe a small replay with the camera mounted on the car after the race, just to show if you lose them, or if they’re reeling you in. Cameron does a great job with his, but just a suggestion!
Def race some older g35 coupes or sedans. Race some g35s and some g37s. I’d really like to see you race some Hyundai’s genesis, velestor, ford fiestas, cobalt ss, sonic turbo, basically all the 4 banger turbos and similar v6 cars
@@sergnextdoor5213 I'd say I've put 5k into my car(exterior and performance mods). There's still more things I can do to it but ya know its expensive. I also have to add that I don't drive my car hard. I do enjoy just gassing it every now and then but not all the time. I still enjoy the car because it is a reliable and nice luxury car to have. If anything I've got my eyes on getting a Trackhawk 😂😂😂

What are your mods? I raced my buddies stage one S4 too the other day but I gapped him pretty bad. He’s stage 1 tune and intake, i’m exhaust and stock tune stock everything else minor weight reduction.
@@sergnextdoor5213 well i have a base model z so my curb weight is a little bit less than yours i think...? i’m custom single exit cat back, megan y pipe, stock cats stock intakes, stock tune, stage 2 clutch, and enkei rpf1 wheels. No spare tire or jack either.
Idk I’ve came across many people that struggle with lining up with the other car for a clean run. Keep in mind there’s limited stretch of road so I did my best to line up and get it going .
@@sergnextdoor5213 the s4's are worse man they have the intercoolers inside the supercharger and get really hot and can crack with heat, i know this because i have a b8.5 s4
@@sergnextdoor5213 yes it does lol, i was only asking cuz i wasnt sure if your friend with the white s4 upgraded his factory heat exchanger to a merc or something else? His stage 1 does require a aftermarket heat exchanger first run its fine 2nd run with a stock exchanger will cause lots of heat soak, with a aftermarket one it takes more runs before it heat soaks.
