Wow, just started the video and must have missed Galdor’s Grip so immedietly downloaded the files for PnP! Loving the in hand games so super excited for this one!
Thank you so much! I just perchased the Collection and now I know how to play it. I bought it after you recommended the game in one of your top lists. Can‘t wait for the first play!
This looks a bit too simple and luck-driven for me. Pentaquest has similar vibe but I got no real thrill in playing - at least you have luck, health and money in this. Gameplay looks somewhat similar to 'Name here and the Argonauts' which is fun and challenging. Doom machine also a good simple dice chucker in this vein. Thanks for playthrough though Sir Thecos! The art is cute.
I only played a couple.. but enjoyed them. #1 for me is Cascadia... lots of variety and can be done within 30 minutes.. solo or 2 player. I also enjoyed playing Tiny Towns.. simple and quick as well. I didn't really enjoy Unsumountable... something about it just didn't click for me! And that's it.. wish I had time for more but too many other hobbies!
32:48 - you missed 2 bonus actions.. 1 for your Mason Jar action since you filled in a blackberry... AND the free good since you played a shed action. Phew.. lots to keep track of!
13:40 - since you know that Edith is going to cross out the Casserole dish (given you know it is already a 6 on the shed) wouldn't it have made more sense to just choose that instead of the wheelbarrow? That way, you get the Casserole and she gets nothing? Not sure you wouldn't always do that since it is easy to determine what she is going to do at the start of the round... or am I missing something??
I agree with your comment about the graphic clutter... considering how clean Welcome To... is (yet still graphically pretty) - the designers really messed this one up and I'm surprised it was approved for production. Still seems to be a hit and money maker for them so I suppose game play trumps the ugly clutter in this case! Thx for the playthrough!!
I'm just at the start of the video and noticed your comment :D well .. i have by coincidence watched a very fine young distinguished lady talk about the Three Sisters - and she went all of a sudden straight for a hardcore rant about how Edith is a ... aspdljfsd;fljasd;fjoaasd;fljsda;fjasldjf;jasd;fjlasd :D :D
Thank you for the video! I found this game from the recommendation of Tabletop Tokki’s solo game video, and I was able to do my first play through today with the help of your video…such a fun, thematic, light-hearted zombie game!! I love it
I haven't played Expeditions yet, so I think I'll hold out until I buy this (just waiting for Rolling Realms Redux to launch in July before placing an order).
When i was super new into the hobby , scythe was all the rumble .. and expeditions rather a dissapointment ( general mood of streamers ). I've tried Expeditions recently and i liked the game a lot !! Which i could not say for the Scythe .... which for me , as a beginner .. left a little foul taste in my mouth.
I like your favourite list criteria: multiple plays, ideally at various player counts should be declared when reviewing games. Thanks for the inspiration - adding Bloc by Bloc to my wish list. I enjoy Floriferous (solo or with a partner), and Fabled Fruit - a great evolving set collection game. I am looking forward to playing Mystic Paths (better than Codenames Duet IMO), We Care (better than Pandemic IMO), Ecosfera, Flock Together, Near and Far Amber Mines coop expansion, Aftermath (mice surviving apocolypse), and Meadow. Too many games, not enough players - I'm joining a local boardgame group!
I’ll be pre-ordering the base game. Collector’s edition seems to not add anything in terms of gameplay. People are really stupid for paying high prices on ebay. They got ripped off, but hey…they aren’t me, and patience pays off in dividends.
This game is amazing! We're playing it a lot here :) The only thing that is genuinely bad for me in tis game is the sleeve quality. We got so many sleeves here with the art peeling that is sad, especially because of the price of it, but nothing that opaque sleeves can't handle!
@@SirThecos I think many people associate you with clever euro games.. that don't necessarily need to be rolling with the most hyped art.. and this ..one could say this game falls into the rather ..ultra hype reel
This was probably first digital /board game where I had to make constant mental effort on realizing how addictive this can be. Coz it seemed to start consuming too much time.... By now, I have developed much finer addictions 😅 so I'm not afraid anymore
@@SirThecos maybe I was lucky .. or not... But I guess when you spend your first million hours in your first rogue lite( in my case Dead Cells) .. I suppose you reevaluate your life choices 🤣
Honestly i have to admit , that I do not own this game, but I watched a bunch of reviews and playthroughs...I was interested in the Iron-clad-version of the game because of the mechs, but for me as a passionated Solo-gamer i decided not to buy it, it is much too expensive!
My initial guess was scythe... But then I thought it's probably Expeditions... But hey!! If you paint it just right, it could be just as well be straight out of Studio Ghibli 😅
