I bought your JPinthestu All In One Recording Template but I never got gmail with download sometimes my gmail gets marked as spam in I don’t get things can u help me?

I use OBS recording software and there is an option to record the mac screen and it also captures audio as well. When I was using a windows computer I had to use a software called “source nexus” to capture the audio.
question when u go to make the aux tracks for the delay & reverb why are they in mono? I thought they should be in stereo like the vocal buss & adlib buss. is there a reason.
I am liking it a lot so far it definitely feels like it sits much better in the mix. The presence of this mic makes the vocals feel like they are more upfront.
Ha I just got myself one an week ago myself . Also had the Tlm 103 . For every one who don’t say it’s not a differnce they just don’t understand what to listen for .
Yea I heard the difference immediately after using the tlm 103 for so long. Don’t get me wrong the tlm 103 is super good but sheesh I immediately heard the difference

Two tips. 1. Get yourself a heavy mic stand. I like triad stands 2. Never out the shock mount on the stand while the mic is on the the shock mount. Happy recording

Spin the nut at the bottom of the shock while holding the mic (instead of spinning the mic). Much less chance of dropping Same with the stand. Loosen the nut holding the boom and spin that into the mic mount (instead of spinning the whole mic assembly) If you try and do it your way at a real studio you may or may not get smacked on the head
@@jpinthestu Just trying to save you from a bonking! p.s. - The magic of the u87 is its versatility. Even when it's not the best mic choice it still sounds good, which makes it such a workhorse even in a studio with a big mic collection. No doubt you'll be very happy with it!
Oh yea definately I appreciate it. I plan on recording my guitar more and it’s ability to also record vocals very well is the reason why I bought it. There are definitely better options but after using it for a couple days now at this point I am extremely satisfied
Thank you for saying this. I opened the comments immediately to come tell him this as soon as I saw him spinning the mic into the shock mount. The other advantage of spinning the stand/shockmount instead of the mic is you are much less likely to strip threads on the stand and shockmount this way. This is because you don’t have a large weighty microphone wobbling up and down as you are threading it. You do not want to strip the threads on an Atlas mic stand or a Neumann shockmount! Those are expensive mistakes.
Both attack and release times are as follows: 1ms is fastest (fastest response to signal) and 7ms in this case is the slowest as of release it’s exactly the same, 1ms (milliseconds) is the fastest release and 7ms (milliseconds) the slowest. Basic math

Straight-up-misleading comment, and kinda ridiculously incurious in context with your above comment "you can see the arrow reacting slower". Yeah you can, but not in the direction that goes with that theory. Either 1 ms or 7 ms would be snapping so extremely fast that no human could tell the visual difference between "fastest" and "slowest". 1176 is backwards in A/R knob behavior relative to nearly all other compressors.The slowest attack setting on a 1176 is way faster than the fastest release setting, and the slowest release setting is over 1 second. The 1-7 scaling on each control doesn't directly track to that number of nominal ms, just relative to its own settings.

No it is correct in the video if you look up the waves cla-76 user guide and go to the very bottom of page 8 it says that 1 is the slowest and 7 is the fastest.
@@jpinthestu1 is the fastest and 7 the slowest and this is a standard by all the compressors. You can see the arrow reacting slower by higher value, as she said, basic info
for most compressors, yeah, standard basic info. But something basic about the 1176 is that the attack/release knobs are backwards compared to the standard rationale. Do a quick google.
How do u record with all those plugins on there while recording thru the lead vox, without the static or any issues recording with the CPU?? That'd be coo to know bro
@jpinthestu oh ok. No wonder why my shit keeps actin up. I bought a windows 11 brand new best buy bro to make pro tools happen for me and shit and it was under $200 dollars. The cpu goes up quick on my shit. Gets hella irritating

I came from fl studio originally to pro tools and it was sooo confusing but just keep at it and you’ll get the hang of it!
