Essentially I don’t have a whole lot of experience with fresh air but I believe to my knowledge that they do pretty much the same thing

Fresh air will add harmonic saturation to the upper frequencies kinda like an exciter will. Eq depending on the eq will just add a boost to that frequency.

Yea I can definately do that in the future! What I would reccomend in the mean time is setting your autotune to low latency mode and setting your buffer rate to 128 so there is no delay

i produce and mix my music & i can tell you personally after years of experimenting buy a uad interface. use auto tune as an insert on the uad. no latency

Shoutout tillie. Most of the time I change up the eq curve slightly but it honestly works so good as a starting point in a template for almost all vocals

As in my vocals or the artists vocals? I’m new to the whole post production for editing but if it is my vocals I definately agree. Sometimes I was farther away from the mic for my cuts. I appreciate the feedback and thank you for watching

Since this video uploaded my mixing technique has completely changed but this way worked out very well for a while but I definately agree with you about the gainstaging!
