Pilates is really good, but unfortunately, due to working and strengthening the core/abdominal area the waist gets wider and many women lose the waist hip ratio. Pilates is not the best for a nice V shape and tiny waist ( pole dance and similar activities as well). This is not a critic, but simply observing things with knowledge.
