I hate how Calanthe is supposed to be a total badass, but in these series, she has about one scene where she's basically just MCU Thor except without the jokes and that passes as her being badass. In almost every other scene she's trembling with teary eyes or crying outright, whenever ANYTHING happens. She looks like she's constantly at the verge of a nervous breakdown. In the books, she always came across to me as if she's playing it cool and acts in control, even when things are going poorly for her.
Yea dosent bother me Victor. Not pitiful at all. My mom makes me go home to visit my grandma in India and her home looks like that too. She has money, but she gives it all away. Tells people she dosent care because she’s old anyway. Mom always says something insulting and irritating and puts her foot in her mouth. I always have to scold her and tell her to shut up
imagine being invited to a wedding and dying in a totally uncalled for then swept over bloodshed that lasted for like 5 minutes and everyone was like 'ah that was fun' after the fight... yeah
When I first saw this scene I was so confident that the show would be awesome. Don't know what happened to the other fight scenes, and to the quality in general.
A lot of fans are now signing a petition to have the crappy showrunners removed and that's probably why Henry is no more. They think they can just do whatever with a story we deeply love, they think they can milk us for money by replacing the one we like, they don't give a damn about the wishes and feelings of their own fans, but in the end they won't collide with nothing but hatred for what they've done... If you're interested, I can share the link to the petition, anyway, as a way to support Henry and his beautiful incarnation of Geralt of Rivia.

It's probably because the writers hated the books and games and Henry was pretty much the only one that was very protective of the source material. Pair that with the fact that he is back as Supes and you have a reasonable argument for him leaving. It's still very sad tho, he was so good as Geralt

Calanthe to herself: "send a bunch of half-drunken louts against a magical superhuman and a man-sized hedgehog monster. Great plan! Good job, queen!" Also Calanthe: "ok, maybe not the best idea."

Personally, I think these are my favorite battle scenes from Season 1 of The Witcher, such as the battle scene of Blaviken and the battle scene with Striga.
