Home field advantage, a 2-2 record against one of baseball's worst teams, two of the most overpaid pitchers in baseball do not win, Turner proves again he should be a designated hitter and not a major league shortstop, five errors in game 4 and Philly fans are happy? Are you kidding?
Yo Conner.....I'm too busy to watch many Complete Phillies Games, but I love Our Fightins! Watch This Channel Every Day! Thanks for your "Angels Makin' Lighting to Celebrate the Phillies Win" Reference!! State Controled Media And Sports Media are Blatantly Antichrist, so Any Christian Like Reference is Appreciated! 👍 💪 🙏 ⚾ ⚾
without harper, schwarber and JT...the bottom half of the lineup is backups...but they didn't give up....that's the point...winning has infected the whole clubhouse
I don't understand why and how you go so easy on Nasty Casty. Very seldom does he come through when you really need a player to do this. Good example is what he did to day. After all he is a 20 million guy. For me, I wish he was still in Cincy. 20 million dollar player? NO WAY!
@CementJob97 I would say just as many players don't live up to their big contracts as do. Harper is an anomaly. I just hope he can continue to improve as season goes. Remember just last year he did have an all star caliber first half.
Trade for Garrett Crochet and Luis Robert. , , Give up Abel , Sosa , Aiden Miller . Crochet has BP Closer experience , along w #2 Starter potential , , would be Perfect fit for Phillies , ,
There’s no need to make any trades at the moment. Especially giving up Sosa. We need him on the bench and to play 1 or 2 games a week to give guys some rest and in case of any injuries. He can play anywhere in the infield. You can’t give up a guy like that. Robert low key kinda over rated
I'm not sold on Robert. Too many injuries, and when he's hot, he hits a ton, but when he goes cold, it's brutal. We don't need to give up the entire farm system to get a clone of Casty
Not sure what Arozerenas contract looks like but also a possibility. Amazing postseason numbers , having a bad 1st half of season , but I'm not worried abt that when the spotlight comes on in Sept
@@JamesHallettJrlol. Against a tough lefty we have Merrifield and pache starting because marsh gets benched all the time. Lol we don't need a trade? lolololol. Ok
@@kevinmyers440 why get rid of what works. AND trade one of our top prospects. Our starting rotation is great and doesn’t need any help. If anything we need a bit of bullpen help. And we just have to trust in Marsh. Let him get more at bats against lefties. In the post season he’s gonna face lefties and I’m not willing to take him out for one of our bench players. If we make a trade it needs to be for a better option on the bench and a righty bullpen arm.
WE still need a bullpen arm and a closer.. Soto, where do I start.. He looks like he's hyperventilating out there.. ive never had a pitcher make me anxious just by how anxious he comes across over my tv!! Anthony Sir D just can't be trusted in any high-leverage situations. Dont get me started on T Walker..
I disagree.. in the beginning of the season, he was the reason we won a few games before he got hurt. I think he just got cold from lack of play, and he's starting to heat up single and handedly got us a W.
FYI. I went to the Iron Pigs game last night against the Durham Bulls (was there on business trip). Great to see Kody and Rojas. Rojas has some swagger to him…he looked very comfortable at the plate, which I don’t see when he is up with the Phillies. Had many Phillies fans near me and all concluded the same thing. Just thought you may find that interesting?
Also worth noting (haven’t listen yet, so forgive me), in Harper’s 2021 MVP season he wasn’t even an all star…then went absolutely ballistic in the 2nd half. He’s had better second half’s every year since. So, if he somehow gets better that how he’s already performing…wowsers.
94 baby myself!!.. I said this on LOP post game last night. How can ohtini or however you spell his name get voted mvp when he just DHs all year. Bryce Harper does it All!!! MVP MVP MVP
How the hell is otani even in consideration for MVP? He only plays half the time. Contributes nothing to the field. If he wins just shows MLB is all about promoting a certain headline.
Ohtani is significantly having a better year as a hitter. That being said, if Harper can hit even close to Ohtani’s stats and play the field the whole season it probably should go to Harper.
I don't know why you take it personally. Who cares what some fools say.. Either their not Phillies fans or they're Philadelphia sport fans, but casual baseball fans that dont watch the philles unless they're in the playoffs. Honestly, when the Phillies are horrible, I pay way less attention.. There's nothing worse than a really bad baseball team.. If the eagles are bad, they'll lose no more than 12 games a season.. A bad baseball team loses 100 games.. It's hard to watch your team lose 100 times a season and stay engaged, wanting to watch it..
I would not give up on Walker given the remaining money owed. But they do need to make that change to swap roles for him and Turnbull right now until Tai gets his arsenal fixed. Getting Walker fixed and getting Seranthony and Soto some momentum will go a long way. The pen still looks unreliable to me.
