If the trolly poles lost contact with the wires did these buses have a backup battery so they could run so far or as soon as contact with the electricity was lost they would stop.
She originally wanted her own 3 singers, but being a small venue, and the fact that there were a few other acts on as well to pay, it would have meant raising the ticket price beyond what people would have paid. So corners here were cut a bit, and she did graciously accept a lower fee herself.
There will never be another Amy Winehouse she was one of a kind her own style came natural and so talented no one could ever take her place she set the bar high . RIP Amy I hope you found happiness in heaven Angel Girl 💕
Hey! Is there anything else from them besides the songs you've already uploaded (8 I think) e.g. ''Sandy''? In one post you wrote that there are 14 of them. And when we talk about Peter, Chris & The Outcasts it's not that band from Lansdowne Studios. "This 'one-off' group consisted of 2 members of The Hotrods, who were Peter Meer and Chris Hedger (hence 'Peter Chris') and 3 or 4 members of a Liverpool group that Joe worked with called Mr Lee & Co, which had just broken up." ~ such a note is under one video from '66 where they sing "The Right Girl for Me". Greetings
For some reason 'Sandy' got missed, I've now uploaded it at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lfz0SeVgNAE.htmlsi=IGHXlVlhqQvAtKzh Thanks for the info re 'Peter, Chris etc' I'll sift through and ammend where necessary. I had made a note re "Lineup:- Tim on bass, Paul Williams on piano, Mike on drums, John Abbot on banjo, Chris Williams on clarinet. Note Chris also recorded with Joe Meek using a different lineup and were called "Chris & The Students and released one single "Lass Of Richmond Hill/Ducks Away From My Fishing" Recorded at Lansdowne Studios 1959", is this still valid as being the same Chris ??
I saw him with his big roll band at the Black Prince, Bexley and both Georgie Fame and Alan Price were in the audience as they should have been to watch one of the UK greats!
I was doing all this in the midc60' s in Leicester at the Nidgjt Owl with Owlin Robin. Horsehair Road I believe. It was really tight fashion then. But noone will recognise the magic now. It was unbelievable!
I don't think it was banned, just a false rumour. I've added more info to the notes about the creation of this song, and it's links to the Bull & Bush pub.
Ah, thank you so much. I've been hoping to track this down ever since hearing it used on 'chat' version of The World Of Twist's cover of 'This Too Shall Pass Away' back in 1991 :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zYcjwpi6Owg.htmlfeature=shared
Joe's 'Jerry Lee Lewis' style song,.. great rocking live version with a gruffer vocal from Mr. Bennett. I can understand why he didn't like recording the soppy Meek song 'Poor Joe'!
That is not the E Street behind her, This is an absolutely brilliant live performance. The sax player is doing a great take on Clarence's part. The little arm movement's at the end are so Ronnie. Lady Gaga could try and try and never do that right.
"Such waste of talent"?!? What the..whoever fake ass fan wrote that will burn in Hell! Plus, she used her talent quite nicely, I'd say and under the circumstances, I don't blame or shame or ridicule her last moments, but rather I empathize with and truly hope she is resting in peace and power.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💥💫💥💫💥💫
Also, "their relationship was based on drugs" makes no sense cuz she was only smoking weed before hand and recreational at that. Their relationship was based on love like everyone's, innit, and that's why they married--for love.❤️🌹💥💫Say what you will about Blake, he did love her and she him.
