Question: Where is a wheel chock for a front motorcycle tire? And, is the floor reinforced under the chock location? My fear would be that whilst hitting a few bumps at speed, an 600-1000 pound motorbike would rip a hole in the floor? What does Jayco do to prevent this from happening?
Morning! Jayco uses 5/8 tongue and groove flooring which is great. However, they do not have blocks or plates below for reinforcement. About the best thing a guy could do is to drop of the underbelly, possibly remove holding tanks pending their location, put steel plates below the exact areas you are needing and mount the chalks into that. It would take some time but doable. Hopefully that helps. Camping Cass
Hey Cass Debbie again with a question on the 25DS, 2023. I'm trying to get the cover off of the interior light I push up and slide but it's not coming off is there another trick? Thanks
Morning Debbie! You kind of have to squeeze pretty hard from the outside in releasing the little clips. Then, it should pop off there, hopefully that helps!! Camping Cass
With all the battery options of today, it's hard to put standard deep cycles on that work well with the sliding rack. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Hey Debbie! You will want to chalk the offside tires well and jack it up on the frame. However, a better way to do it is, at RV stores, you can buy what they call a (Trailer Aid), you will want to break the lug nuts loose while the bad tire is on the ground, then drive up on this plastic ramp with the good tire on the side you need to get up and it lifts the other axle & you change the tire. That is what I would recommend. Hope that helps. Camping Cass
Is there any 120 outlets under the Dinette table or under the benchseat , I only seen one in the kitchen and I believe there's one up high behind the TV but it would be nice to have one under that dinette table or bench seat .
Hey there!! I have temporarily added the Finance Manager role to my duty's here at the store to help out, so my time has been limited. Before too long, we will be back at it!! Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
25 R with theater seating and mini dinette is amazing. This is a trailer we’ve considered ordering. We have a 19 CB AS By the way thanks for making these videos!
We bought our 2019 Nash 22H from Smiths, Cassidy and crew are the best, very helpful, our 22h is 5 years old and like he says they are built like brick , one tough and very reliable travel trailer......You won't go wrong buying a Nash from Smiths RV , I pull the 22H with my 21 F150 Supercrew , 3.5 EcoBoost and it does not struggle with our 22H whatsoever....
Thank you so much for this outstanding tour. Best I’ve seen so far. I really appreciate being able to see inside all the cabinets and the way they’re designed, as well as all the great features on the outside and underbelly that you point out.
Yes 24B and 29S. I'm just a regular viewer but I'm very familiar with the nash and Artic fox floor plans, go to Northwood manufacturing Nash travel trailers and you can see pictures etc.,
I have two questions how big is the bed? It looks like only a fool, so nothing will the Queen. I didn’t see anything out there with a queen so and then how much is it? That’s the that’s another big thing and I know it takes a Dooley or a truck so because it is 3358 dries out with him it be probably be like around 47 with wet so I didn’t waste just the cost of that one. and can you get it in it with a queen size bed or do they even make them with a queen size bed?
Good Morning!! The bed size is 58'' wide by 80'' long. This is the only option they offer since they are limited on space. So very close to a true queen of 60'' wide by 80'' long. And yes, 3500 to 4500 dually is a great choice with some suspension upgrades of your choice. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Good Morning! This has a GVWR or a wet weight of 3,600 pounds. With a proper weight distribution hitch and brake control, this would be a good pick. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Hello!! Is that a long bed 3500? You would definitely want air bags and Tork Lift Stable Loads. An F-450 is a great choice of truck as well. Camping Cass
Those thermo pane windows are much more valuable than ostensibly seen in R value- if the Sun (930w per sq meter) strikes them, the outer pane gets way hot, the inner pane is vastly closer to the inner temp. This is far and away the most important thing when hoping to cool on a hot sunny day. The insulated shell is ridiculously better than any other RV I know of.
Good Morning!! Couldn't agree more, some places really downplay what Thermal Pane windows do for you between temperatures and sound. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Had this 27fs for a month. The basics are solid, there are perhaps a dozen smaller problems, knocking them out one by one. Only one problem is workmanship, the rest are supply chain (devices manufactured elsewhere, controllers, refrigerator, etc) problem oriented. Still, glad I stepped up. Northwood still makes a high quality product, so when the bugs are gone, mostly are, will have a high quality product.
Hello!!! 2500 with airbags or Timbren's at the minimum, 3500 would be better. You can't have too much truck. Let us know if we can help further. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Good overview CC! I love this new floor plan, but I’m not a fan of the full length bedside wardrobes, which make sleeping claustrophobic for my wife and I. Would it be possible to special order shorter bedside wardrobes with the bedside countertop “table” as seen on other Northwood trailers (on one side of the bed only)? Also, what type of slide mechanisms does Nash use on these trailers?
Hello!! I checked with NW, I apologize, that change is a little more than they are able to do while keeping the production line going. Not a bad thought though. Nash is now using Rack & Pinion gear driven slide mechanisms by Power Gear. Definitely one of the best out there for sure. Let us know if we can help further. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
Only thing I can’t like about the Nash line is the fact you can’t use camper in travel mode. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also, please give more information on the slide system. Is that a cable slide? Great overview of features.
Hey Norm! What operations are you wanting to use while traveling? The refrigerator, furnace & water heater are able to be used while in transit. NW now uses a rack & pinion slide mechanism by Power Gear. It is the most reliable slide system out there. Let me know if I can help further. Thanks for watching!! Camping Cass
@@smithrvsalesserviceinc.5398 I want the unit to be useable with slide in. For example, can get stuff out of fridge to make quick lunch at rest stop. Bed is usable if end up at a Cracker Barrel overnight and can’t put slide out etc. can get to bathroom if needed. I know it will be tight and uncomfortable, but at least usable. Great news about the rack and pinion change. Thanks.
This particular unit has solar on the roof. If a unit does not already have solar but is solar prepped, you will want to look for a sticker that says (Solar Ready). Usually, right behind that decal one can find the solar wires. And on the roof, there will be a solar port, sometimes covered in Dicor (caulking). Let us know if we can help further. Thanks for watching!!! Camping Cass
@@smithrvsalesserviceinc.5398 , I see the solar port on top, but unable to find the sticker. I have this exact trailer, so I was reaching out. Thank you for your time.
Love Northwood products however, why would you block access to the bathroom with the slide? Cmon Northwood. We love our 295T and we’re considering this unit however, that is a deal breaker. That said, there is still thing built better than a Northwood product. No manufacturer comes close, just sayin………
Looks very nice but that wood backer in the walls is a turn off, and For Boondocking much rather see a 12 volt compressor refrigerator hell I’d rather have that in any scenario.
I’m not ready to replace my current trailer and I never heard of a NASH but I figured I would watch the review- you did a great job explaining the features and it looks like a well made camper, we will definitely have to stop by to see it first hand- thanks 🍻
@@smithrvsalesserviceinc.5398 we are still researching RVs I'm a big man 6;2 360 pounds I'm leaning towards Northwoods what is your thoughts on durability? Thank you ☺️
Good Morning!! Yes! NW nailed this one for sure. This one in the video is here in stock and currently available. Let us know if we can help. Thanks for watching!!! Camping Cass
Great look at a nice TT! We currently have a 10 year old ORV 20FQ, but might want to upgrade at some point. Is it possible to have Northwood put bedside tables on both sides of the bed, similar to most ORV models?
