Don't know if you'll ever read this given the video is 4 years old at the time of this comment: This is information-rich content, straight to the point, no-nonsense content and I so appreciate it.
Nice video Brandon, thank you 🙂👍. Yes, good call to walk by the Hublot display and opt for a Swach for her 1st timepiece🤪. Will be a fantastic memory for her👍.
Great video Brandon, thank you🙂👍. This looks like a nice visit. Strange how nice the place is, but it doesn't seem to be advertised. Actually have a "coin silver" Waltham pocket watch from 1903 or 4. Bought 20 years ago, still runs great. Must say you have a beautiful family and a good looking watch. Thanks again.
I agree, my wife found out about the place before I did. Definitely not well advertised. Hopefully this video gets them some traction. I want to go back for some more pistachio cheesecake!
I watched your video that was done about 4 years ago when you said you wanted to do a video just like this…unboxing a Jomashop purchase. It’s an excellent video and VERY helpful in assessing Jomashop as a reasonable option. Thanks!
I saw both of your JomaShop videos, good information. I just ordered my first watch from JomaShop but I'm waiting for it to arrive. It took them two weeks before I even got a shipping notification. It's nothing fancy, just $500. By the way, I know you didn't want to show your address but your address does show up as you opening the box. Just thought you should know.
You have a FANTASTIC collection, Brandon! I have just gotten into horology and collecting watches over the past year. If you have not yet read Rebecca Struthers’ book; “Hands of Time”, it is a MUST READ for anyone who is a watch enthusiast! I have a Seiko Prospex Alpinist with “Mystic Forest” green dial. I also have a Citizen Pro Master diver (green bezel😉), with their cool Eco-Drive movement. That is a great watch. Yes, I am a SCUBA diver. I really appreciate your video on Jomashop. I recently purchased a Hamilton Khaki Field watch from Jomashop and had a wonderful experience buying from that company. That watch was in mint condition and has been perfect! I am wearing it now! I love the exhibition case back. My next watch will be the Omega Seamaster 300m, white dial! I am selling some of my firearms to be able to afford it, but I WILL be purchasing it from Jomashop. That will save me right at $1,500.00. After my awesome experience of buying my Hamilton from them and seeing your two videos about that company, I have ZERO reservations about purchasing that watch from them. Thank you for your great content!!!🙏
Thank you cliff. And welcome to this fun world of horology better late than never. I’ll have to check out the book I have not heard of it. Sounds like you a great collection going for yourself, 3 awesome watches. Very cool that you scuba dive, I have only been snorkling and I feel that is amazing. I really should try scuba sometime. I’m glad that my joma video was helpful! You will absolutely fall in love with the seamaster. You will be blown away by the finishing and detail of it. Just wait to you see that movement through the case back, it’s very well detailed. Becarful selling the firearms, don’t spread yourself too thin. I have sold a lot of my firearms off a number of times when I have to move such as Alaska back to mainland as I couldn’t drive through Canada with them and didn’t want to go broke shipping them . Always regret getting rid of firearms and now I’ll try to never have to sell them off again, good to have on hand if need be.
Lots of people have watched the video and been able to set their watches up no problem. I am not sure what the problem is, you may want to talk to Casio directly if it doesn’t seem to be working
Good to know. I have wanted to get myself a montblanc pen at times. I don’t really ever use a pen but would be cool to have a special pen for when I do need to use one
Now I got mine, it's a nice watch. But I didn't like that it was very dark and a little difficult to see because the days are marked in miniscules. apart from that very easy to program👍
Hi I checked out crono24s prices and I got a lot better deal from jomashop- I was looking at Brietling gmt 40nand crono24 was $1000 more for same new watch
I see watches in USA are lot cheaper compared to Europe. For example this HC in video at moment cost 1500 euros, new model is 1950 euros. Regular people in USA can afford omega or Rolex and here in Europe only very rich people wear them.
I wouldn’t go ahead and say that. I think most regular people in the United States don’t even drive 10k cars let alone wear 10k watches. Most of the us is living paycheck to paycheck
Nice review. My best watch at moment is Tissot. I’m in love with this Longines, somehow I prefer this model rather than new one. Right now I’m exploring about this HC.
Thank you! Tissot makes great watches. It is a great model especially for the price used or grey market. Probably one of the best watches you can get for that price. If I still had it I would have sold it to you. I let it go to fund my submariner
I hear Jomashop is based in NYC. Do they have a retail space where you can check the watches before payment? Or is it online only, not allowing you to try on the watch first?
Recommended documentary - Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things. Do you want that or have you fallen prey to the increasingly pernicious marketing machine? Downsizing is never a mistake. All my want and needs are covered with the Black Bay 54 (with straps / NATO's) and the G-Shock 5000U. A multisport watch (Fenix 6) is also essential.
Thanks for the recommendation! I agree downsizing is usually always a good thing. As a whole as I grow older I see more and more how less is more in most situations s
