Thank you Mark for sharing this incredible video... such a beautiful song. You have captured it so well. i wish I could have been there to hear him sing this song. It's unlikely that paul will come to Australia again in the future and so I may have missed my chance. He sings this song with same emotion and care as he did back in 1968.
Its really a miracle that modern generation could also listen to a live performance of Beatles, like their grandparents did 60 years ago. I hope that every single person realises how lucky they are
As I recall after Paul played this song, he told us about the time he met Frank Sinatra and asked him what is your favourite Lennon/ McCartney song. And then he told us that Frank Sinatra replied “Something” That’s funny that, that song was actually written by just George Harrison. Great tribute to George.
Reportedly, not only did Frank say that to Paul, but he often said on occasion that "Something" was one of the most beautiful songs EVER written. And when it came to picking a good song, 'ol Blue Eyes knew what he was talking about.
He sounds fantastic for someone who is 81 years old. Give the man props for getting up there and playing 3hr long shows for his fans. The guy is α BILLIONAIRE , he doesn’t do it for the money. And having said all that, I think he sounds fine actually. Would be an honour to see this legend live
¡¡¡ And 16th november I'll see him in México city!!! ❤ It' s amazing, a man, 80 years old, with a long, long history in pop music is getting to move so many people of any age in his music, in his feeling, his story.
Lol, that was funny, I was there too, great concert & Paul at 81 still energetic , gave a 3 hour concert with no breaks, voice a little raspberry with age, but it’s a living Beatle, I’ll be happy if I’m 81 & have his stamina 😂👍🏻
WE KNOW PAUL IS 81 YEARS OLD ,RIGHT 😱BUT WE KNOW THAT HE ;S STILL GOTIT ,MAN ....I LOVE YOU PAUL ,MTE .....LEGEND....FROM ENGLAND 💖🙏🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🐐🎵🥳🙏😱💥🔥👍
You can hear him struggling some, but hey hes 81. Its a miracle he still has a voice. Definitely got his money's worth from those vocal cords. What an amazing career and icon. I wish could clone him!! Lol!
Touring a 3-hour show at age 80. It's difficult to imagine, besides the energy required for repetitive traveling and leading his band's performances, the amount of music and lyrics memorized for dozens and dozens of songs. At age 80, Paul is (still) remarkable, physically and mentally.
Saw the Beatles in 1965, Birmingham England. They were on stage for a full 30 minutes, didn't hear a word they sang, they were drowned out by the screaming. Still one of my favourite memories.
This guys work ethic is off the charts. He has extraordinary talent but he has always worked extremely hard. Here is in his 80’s and still going. He will be a towering figure in musical history for a long time after many others are forgotten.
