Hey bro I’m a beginner with 7.3 I just got one and about 1 week ago my transmission overheated and dumped some fluid so i pulled over right away !! So my question is do I need a new transmission or maybe with luck only replace fluid and should be good to go ?
@@totaltreeservice4870 you need to find what caused the fluid to overheat in the first place and that is your problem no need for a new transmission unless it overheated really bad and you ran it without fluid.
Have 2016 has hiss tune dpf fell off egr is attached but tailpipe dirty and throttle body is like new has insane power can egr be off how doni find what tunes no idea of previous owner thanks

Found your channel because of the OBS 7.3…. Staying for the OBS 7.3🤝🏼 you should do some fuel economy videos for it! I’ve got a 96 F250 crew cab and I’ve gotten up to 22mpg on the interstate, stock everything except a 6637 air filter. 17-19mpg every day of the week. I’m obsessed with it

@@powerstrokecentral I mean from jelli built I have 200/30% injectors and stage 2 kc 63/73 turbo and the jelli built tunes and make my transmission feel like its going to explode and the transmission just got a fresh rebuild 40k again
Also you’ll almost never get past 300k stock let alone with a tune without changing the pushrods to the shorter ones and replacing lifters when doing a bulletproofing. These things drop lifters and cam lobes just from normal use.
That little fan in the front isn’t doing jack or jill, get a real fan in front of that thing made for doing dyno pulls. Shocker Gale Banks invented his own using 3 phase industrial fans from a car wash.
I would definitely put an Efuel system on it asap before you ruin your injectors, the mechanical pump can barely supply fuel pressure to the stock sticks. Also, put an upgraded hpop like a t800 and it’ll be super noticeable seat of the pants wise and will have so much more low end and throughout the rest of the rpm range. the hpop is a super slept on upgrade for the 7.3’s
You know, some maybe bashing him on here. But I can 100% tell this guys is putting some hard work into this RU-vid channel. And I promise you regardless of his experience he will go a lot further than most of you “mechanics”. And I know that’s just eats some of you up.

I have a 2001 7.0 liter excursion, so we go park , for 4x4 high and neutral for low, sorry didn’t have a dad to teach me so I was trying figure this stuff out lol
Nice! The turbo sounds great. Do you plan on adding an intercooler to the OBS overtime to go along with the new turbo in the near future, if you don't mind me asking?
Sounds like u watched damn near the whole video thanks. And the spare tire doesn’t fit anymore because of the 5 inch turbo back so yeah it just sits there for now until I get a different one.
I know Justin and Josh personally and I can vouch for them. Justin is the best diesel mechanic I have ever worked with. He's so knowledgeable he can diagnose a problem in literally less than a minute. Worked on both my 7.3 and 6.7. Josh has the customer skills and the authenticity to hear customers out. These guys want both sides to win. They aren't going to run you for your money.
