CC hasn't said anything. she just lets her game talk. totaly in wnba ca 2000 double doubles have been made, and ca 35 tripledoble.. so she'll need 57 to compare. AR plays traditional basketball. rebounds her own misses etc.. she's great.. nothing against reese. but. CC is the general creating her teams entire playstyle. faceguarded the entire court. topping all scoutreports, topping points generated , only rookie with trippledouble, first rookie to 4 double double with assists etc.. she's in another league.... so this is all political, they are afraid of the old beeing gone since CC will change the entire worlds way of playing basketball for women.
That's where you can spit the difference between those who - want to win/don't want to lose - want to play the game vs an opponent at full strength because... you know, they love the game !
How about if we talk about more of the sportsmanship part of the rookie of the Year or the modesty part of Rookie of the Year! Hands down Caitlin Clark would win that
There's a podcast on line that views and breaks down Reese''s rebounds that shows how it maybe possible that the whole WNBA is helping Reese stack up stats. There are opponents who will not block her out; they will stand there and allow her to get rebounds and score points!
You already said it, Triple double is hard to achieve and CC is the ONLY rookie to get it. Hands down, CC deserve the ROTY. While Reese is still trying to surpass the previous record of 22 double double ( not Triple Double).😊 Plus, CC is very valuable to her team, she is the Court General and she leads the team, while Reese, can be substituted by Cordoso in their team. No ONE in yhe WNBA passes like CC and she already broken the record for most points and assists records. YES CC is THE ROTY, the all around player.
You're running behind what has been happening. There have been many good things happening wit CC and veterans. Just because this happened does NOT mean the past narrative was wrong. People were actually very happy about it. So stay up with what's happening
I would pick CC because of her all around game hands down best floor general in the league. Unfortunately I don't think she will win. The people who do the voting almost always pick bigs last time a guard won I believe was 2009 so no matter how good CC is her chances of winning are not good they won't give it to a guard.
Cheapshot abounded in the WNBA and since CAITLIN came into, { Vogue, } we see how ugly the WNBA is to this day. Caitlin never shy to just swish it from half court. Screw the WNBA cheapshots🎉🎉🎉🎉
I watched that unfold. Much love and repect to Jackie Young . True competitor and true player w/ integrity and love of sportmanship. She even gave her a bump touch as to say " Go Girl, get your your self together!" Players like her are the exact reason why I started watching the WNBA games. Continue to play great ball girls w/ heart and ingrity.
