Soooo you had your right wings and your left wings. Im guessing we will call the middle row the moderates 😂😂😂. Dash happy for you this cooker is working out so well. Im really looking forward to seeing it filled up. I am confused though about only using one probe? Hell it don't cost more to use all of them and remember it records your cooks so use ALL probes. Lol, moderates! I guess, but they were mixed left and right wings. Yes, I could use more than one, but I'm used to using only one or two max and just moving them around. I'll be looking into the wireless ones very soon.
Bro that LSG Pellet Smoker is throwing out some smoke.... I wondering if pellet smoker going to affect the taste of the protein but with the quality of smoke it's producing ...I think I got my answer. You definitely made a wise choice of purchasing the LSG....additional will make your job considerably easier. Cheers 🍻
There is no lack of smoke in this thing at all. If it's wasn't evident of my eyes burning when I opened the cooker to check on the food, LOL. Yes I too think I made the right choice for sure!
Hi Scott. 🤗🤗🤗 I like your new smoker. I don't do much of it anymore. I've had four heart surgeries total now, but things keep collapsing and some arteries are totally collapsed and cannot be opened. My blood looks like it's thinned out Kool-Aid. Not the only thing I cook now are steaks over the fire on the offset, or do ribs hot and fast in about an hour. I had found a way how to do them in about an hour using my offset old country. I miss doing briskets, that was my favorite thing to smoke. I hope everyone's doing well. .
Hey my Guy.... Not sure if you are aware, but the best way to check if burgers/steak is done is with the hand technique. 25+ years of cooking in restaurants, and this was the best tip I ever got. 👍
So you need to cure the paint at a low temp before raising the temp. I was advised to cure at an even lower temp than suggested for a longer period of time, it worked out for me.
Darnit!!!! First off, that thing is awesome and congrats. Secondly, now I'm second guessing getting the 20x42. I think the 20x42 is perfect for almost everything, but now I'm starting to think there might be times I'd wish I got this. Now I need to think because I'm not ordering for a bit anyway

Usually I'm cooking closer to 250 unless I am cooking wings. But I;ll try a few different temps until I find where I'm happy for the cooker to sit at while cooking.
Your other smokers look so sad... neglected, not pretty any more with that new HOT smoker right there... you handleing the way you did right in front of them... thats just wrong Dash.

Your wife is like mine and give an honest review. Not only that but you’re keeping it real and actually leaving that comment in there about too much seasoning. We all do it from time to time but a lot of RU-vidrs will edit that out or script it differently for the camera. Thanks for staying 💯

I was surprised how much smoke was coming out around the door. I have a lsg 42 with the ball valve, and with the valve closed, I only get smoke from the smoke stack.
Awesome smoker! I was debating getting the cabinet smoker but couldn’t justify the extra room, but I’m loving my LSG 42”. Can’t wait to see your future cooks in it!
Dash the thing I. Notice about your new cooker that's the Sami as my Lonstargrillz large Insulated Vertical Smoker is that the huge size of the interior of the cook chamber really doesn't come across very well. But I knew you would be blown away at the possibilities of that controller. I'll get you those pictures of the drain arrangement I have on the IVS today. Man I'm so happy for you.
