Your face is so expressive. Yes, we live in the most beautiful isles in the world, in our opinion. But our island is small compared to the US and you certainly have a lot of beautiful places. Our country is condensed therefore everything takes about half a day to get to. Don’t forget Europe as well, Greece, Italy, France, Scandinavia etc they all have their own beauty, but there is no place like home when you see our patchwork of green fields as we fly back into our country.
That's not right there are some but it's not just in Scotland it's all over the world my mum and dad were brought up in a children's home it was called corstorfine and it was run by the priests and nuns and they were very abusive the nuns were the worst

The Dunblane families are heroes who helped to change laws, thankfully the public and government were so shocked that we actually achieved something. Nothing like this has happened since. Bout the clock thing: A match is 90 minutes but at the end the ref will add aditional time to compensate for brakes (switching players, handling fouls etc.) Usually bout 2-5 minutes. Also the ref will not end the game while an attack is still going on.

We have no bears, only one type of poisonous snake which is an Adder and sadly we do have spiders but not dangerous ones and very small compared with Australia and USA. We have nice creatures like Hedghogs, Badgers and Foxes and a lot of Deer.
The Navy Seals are hard core professional soldiers but the SBS go one better, Anyone serving in our western armed forces deserves a thank you and our respect.

Us Brits invented many things and gave them to the USA. The famous P51 Mustang was designed for the British to replace the Hurricane but didn't work until a British Merlin engine was put in it. The wooden twin engine Mosquito could carry the same bomb payload as the US B17. The modern jet engine was a British invention (the Germans had ram jets and where just behind the British). The British first split the atom and invented nuclear power.

They did make a movie in the '60s when there were still a lot of flying ME109s look-alikes still flying along with He111s both of the Spanish Air Force. Today it would have to be CGI aircraft and they never get the weight right when doing the aerial sequences. There have been two recent movies about the role of the Polish squadrons involved but not of the battle itself from France right through to September 15. No mention of the early fighters, the Bolton Paul Defiant on the British side, for example, the Junkers 88 and the do17Z on the German side. Nor do they mention our bombing raid on the invasion barges off Calais on September 11th

The Picts didn’t really kick the romans arse. It was more a case that there was no real interest from Rome to conquer Caledonia, it was a pointless wet cold but if land. With the political will and the resources necessary they could easily have conquered Caledonia…..they just couldn’t be arsed.
In my opinion the SBS are the pinnacle of special forces. Prior to 2001 they only recruited from the Royal Marines. I had a friend who was recently badged around this time. He was trying to persuade me to go for it but the main reason that put me off was the amalgamation with the SAS calling it joint SF selection. I am very proud to have been a royal marine but the SBS guys are the absolute cream of the crop.
you have to understand you have to be time served military before you can apply for British SF. So straight off the bat, the training is designed differently. you are niether encouraged or discouraged during your training. if fact your progress is kept from you, which in itself is a mind Fcuk. so many differences to talk about. but to just get your badge and beret, I'd say British SF would be harder. However, British SF will only work alongside NZ, Australian, and US Speical forces. Brothers in arms. sharing knowledge and tactics

Downpatrick Head is not in Northern Ireland, in fact, its not even in the UK. It is in County Mayo in the Republic of Ireland about 60 miles due west of Sligo
