POV: It's the 1980s, a young, sophisticated Japanese business woman in a sharp suit landing in NYC to close a big deal on wall street. She closes the deal and is about to go out on the town for a hard drink. This album cover photo is at the end of her successful day at sunset.
This song was sampled in "JUNKO" by Seiji エミ97. Here's a link: music.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cN_DLci3ZrA.html&si=Uj7nDShoC5ghhCPe
Replying from my alt account (cuz it's what I have signed in :p) but I'm the creator. I made this during an ADHD hyperfixation on music production in about 12 hours. I do get spurts of inspiration now and then and I have some tracks sitting on my desktop that I've not released, mainly because once I get to the mastering I always get bored lol. Other than that I have a day job as a software engineer and I'm doing pretty well in life. Thanks for the comment ❤
I just want to be told I can’t stay up so late again. when you’re a teenager no one cares anymore. they just let you rot and tell you thats part of it.
She died. I used to listen to her in middle school. She made a lot of my early teenhood more comforting. I hope she rests in piece knowing she made people’s lives brighter.
This song is really magical, it gives me a nostalgic feeling of lightness and happiness. Even more so when I see the Twin Towers and remember how I danced at the spring ball at Windows on the World as a student in NYC ...
