First time I moved house, I didn't do Ragbrai either. Come to think of it, I didn't do Ragbrai the second time I moved house. Or the third. Or... Does it matter that we don't have Ragbrai in the UK? 😎😎😎
I thought it had all gone quiet on the RAGBRAI trip. A shame after all the training you put in, lying around on cruise ships, enjoying Daytona beach, playing golf, and of course, not forgetting the sacrifices that you made on the eleven country pub crawl! Really enjoyed all of these videos! 17 years ago I did some walking (lol hiking, why do Brits call it walking) in the Lake District - highly recommend some of those hikes too if you want to go back. I don't think I could do that kind of hiking - or what you did here - today. I know I said it before but Rach, you killed it. I 100% would have given up. Thanks for sharing! I doubt I'll ever do the whole thing but maybe next time I'm in UK I'll do some of it. Thanks for sharing your trip!
I've moved several times. After the first time I learned not to fill boxes with books. At most, half-fill a box, or better still, fill one-third of the box, and then add very light things to fill the box - cushions, couple of lamps, anything light. Your back will thank me. Good luck with the move!

88 boxes per room , orrrrrr Just realize, we all go through it , one day you get to a place in your journey and you realize, you’re trying to do what we learn and pick up other habits and all you need few pants, few shoes and be clean and polite, and go with what you feel and know from experience ♥️🐱😇😇😇
Do you wish you'd had walking sticks? The thistles are killer and really hurt. How did you do laundry? I'm 70 so have to get in shape but dang it is so hot in fl I don't want to go outside. Shoes? What did you wear? Trying to get my Sanford friend on board and my Atlanta friend. Second time watching and wanting that cider. We climbed Crough Patrick in Ireland and that was a feat plus did 100 miles in London in 8 days so think we can do it with lots of gin & tonics. Thank you
We've never used walking sticks, but I bet they would have helped. Agreed! Now that summer is here, we'll be staying inside! We wore hiking boots and tennis shoes - much preferred the tennis shoes, as my feet started to swell. (Love Sanford by the way, we live in Longwood!) I bet you could do it! Thanks for watching!!!!

Soooooooo....long story - it doesn't look like we'll make it this year....we were FINALLY able to buy a house and the close date is right in the middle. So it may be a next year trip.....WE'RE SO SAD (but also happy about the house) haha
