The mission of the American Watercolor Society is to foster the appreciation of watercolor media, and to advance education in support of this end. AWS is a nonprofit membership organization that began in 1866 to promote the art of watercolor painting in America. Each year the Society holds a juried exhibition of watercolors from artists throughout the world.
What an amazing demo…her ability to keep talking and instructing as she painted! Thank you so much for posting this. I was also delighted with the paintings behind her. If possible please post the name of the artist that painted the gray abstract. Again, thanks👍
Thanks so so much for this very insightful video! I am a self-made artist (beginner) and I appreciate all the help that I can get. I used to have no interest in watercolor, until I actually started painting botanicals ...I love it! watercolor is amazing! Thanks for sharing this invaluable information from Mr John Salmine! Now I want to paint Urban Landscapes.
I want to say congratulations to those whose paintings were selected this time, Those whose paintings were not selected this time should work harder and try to be selected next time . I also hope that the organizers can expand the number of paintings in the online exhibition so that more paintings by artists can be selected. Now is the Internet age, As long you have good paintings, You can display them online and let people share your paintings !
First of all, Thank you to the organizer for organizing and sharing this exhibition ! Congratulations to everyone who entered ! I was honored to see my painting selected. This exhibition is mainly about realism, and some of the paintings have very good foundation and expression techniques, Most of the paintings are created from life, So they can reflect people's mental outlook of real life and the atmosphere of the times. In addition, I also saw some paintings of different styles.....
Congratulations everyone! I hope to see more abstract watermedia painting, and looser transparent paintings in the future. It’s not very well represented in this exhibit. There seems to be an excessive amount of hyper realism and people subjects in this exhibition. Blessings!
Congratulatons to everyone who entered, was selected, and those who won an award . It's a great exhibition and it was my honor to act as juror of awards
I really loved this video. I love how he shared his information, the information about other artists and how they used different things to the advantage, but I really loved how he shared implementing all that so I opening an inspirational. Thank you for sharing this.
This is the first time I can actually say I could feel your painting as your painting. You are truly a master at teaching watercolour thank you for sharing this wonderful opportunity with me..❤
this was so lovely to watch!! Mr. Masi was one of my highschool instructors , and I feel quite lucky to have had inspirations like him to set me on my way.. thanks for this !! 👍👍so glad he's doing well and creating such beauties and such expressive pieces 👍👍Norakag, here
This is one of the best demos I have ever seen. Antonio is entertaining and very knowledgeable. I took away some great concepts and a few very interesting techniques. Curious about the bleach and I’m going to be buying some combs.
Thank you for sharing these insights. I can't wait to incorporate these concepts into my style. It's early years in my watercolor journey and the learning never stops.
