The mission of the American Watercolor Society is to foster the appreciation of watercolor media, and to advance education in support of this end. AWS is a nonprofit membership organization that began in 1866 to promote the art of watercolor painting in America. Each year the Society holds a juried exhibition of watercolors from artists throughout the world.

This exhibition is mainly about realism, and some of the paintings have very good foundation and expression techniques, Most of the paintings are created from life, So they can reflect people's mental outlook of real life and the atmosphere of the times. Congratulations everyone! I hope to see more abstract watermedia painting, and looser transparent paintings in the future. It’s not very well represented in this exhibit. There seems to be an excessive amount of hyper realism and people subjects in this exhibition. Blessings!

This is one of the best demos I have ever seen. Antonio is entertaining and very knowledgeable. I took away some great concepts and a few very interesting techniques. Curious about the bleach and I’m going to be buying some combs.
