I have been involved in the RC hobby for over 20 years I raced in gas two wheel drive on road and two-wheel drive off-road buggy classes. I recently got into electric bicycles and I built my first ebike and ebike battery I absolutely love it. I am going to continue making RC car and Ebike, review, entertainment, DIY, and how to videos. Thank you for your interest and thank you for watching!
That new mantis bike for 3k is 😧 crazy... Could you build it for that as consumer? And its known brand... Maybe this will force other companies to compete... I would love to build my own but that rrar mantis is tempting... It will get police attention tho... Love your content 👍
Did you ever see the Kandi ebike ? A Popular channel destroyed it and disappeared. I believe the frame would be to your liking. Definitely is not a tall riders bike. Looks fantastic . Too bad bikes and beards finished them.
@@kevinduprey9326 yes I remember that, the frame was similar but I think it might have been a really bad copy. I think the bikes and beards channel gave it to the pizza delivery guy for a tip lol
Hey guys I’m having trouble building mine a bit the bike is taller then I am I have 26x4 tires with 220mm rear shock and height is 5’ 9” any suggestions what size should I put for the rear suspension
@@samjohnson517 AWESOME thats good distance with no hiccups ,i used a crystalyte hs4065 rd notor so actually had to get axle extenders to fit the drop outs it was the fastest motor i could find that still lets you run 7 speed casette and i worked out a way to put a 500watt bafang front motor onto the through axle forks, you can see a video on my chanel how the build ended up with the modified suspension
@@burnthedead13 I am 5'8 and I am barely flat-footed (both feet flat at a stop ) when it sags from the weight of sitting on it. try a mountain bike with an extra large frame and you'll get an idea. You can ride it it's just that when you stop you're probably going to lean over a little and use one leg to hold it up.
Hey Man I'm curious in the manual "UsersGuide_EHLS500_EN.pdf" it looks like at 1080p the max refresh rate is 60hz (which has a pixel clock of 148.5 Mhz). But they also support resolutions like 2560x1080 @ 60hz (which has a pixel clock of 198.0 Mhz), and 3840x2160 @ 60hz (which has a pixel clock of 594.0 Mhz). Given it's obvious based on the fact it can play 3d blurays the LCD's function at 120hz, do you have any idea why it doesn't support 1080p 120hz? Is the HDMI front end just not designed to accept anything above 60hz? For gaming have you managed to get it to do 1080p @ 120hz using CRT (custom resolution tool) or anything like that?
I just bough the same bike las Saturday and u got play on the head set...i cant get it to tide...and the stem tube is long...im going to cut it like you did....she ride good thiugh..💪🏽💪🏽
Hey my friend, my name is Shaun. I live in Simi Valley. I have the same bike wondering is there a way to fix a flat back tire without having to disconnect the cable from the battery or controller?
Absolutely so long as the cable is long enough, it should be zip tied to the swing arm,you have to cut the zip ties that should give you enough cable, just remove the rim and lay it down next to the bike and change the tire from the non-wire side.
Yeah I thought about it but the problem is they would stick out and I would constantly bang my knees on them. It works on the other frame because the area where the thumb screws are located is recessed.
The frames are all pretty much the same they don't seem to come in different sizes. I'm 5'8 but my seat post is all the way down and then I'm barely flat-footed. I would say get whatever frame you like and then adjust all the other parts, for example get a longer rear shock instead of 190 mm get a 220 or 230. And maybe longer front forks.
7:35 is the exact reason I went with the cs20 and the 17” wheel eventho I am 6”3, easier to take upstairs and load into my highlander …. The cs20 is the lighter frame since IT’s aluminum I got a 5000/8000w motor, fardriver 150a and 50ah Samsung cells 200a BMS battery shipped to NY for 3100$ …. Very excited!!!! But I have to wait 50 days 😭
I can't say for sure but it is common for these companies to use readily available frames, . I mean you know what they say; if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck.......
Thanks for the content. So you put the shorties on the back... but didn't change the front. How does that affect handling? I understand all the coil shocks take some time to break in. Did you find that?
Yes the front stays the same we don't notice anything different with the handling really, I don't know if those things are ever going to get less stiff LOL I mean they're okay, way better than stock.
How do you take the rear wheel on and off? Heard I need to disconnect some of the electric cables, got no idea what I'm doing when it comes to electronics. Never seen you do this in the video so missed the most important bit. It's nice to know if the Hub motor broke I would know how to replace it or a basic tier change.
Well if you're just doing a tire change you do not have to disconnect the wiring you can remove the tire from the side of the rim that does not have wiring. If you are changing the hub motor then yes you will need to disconnect the wires that run to the controller, there will be three large wires and usually two plugs.
2 years later how is it holding up? so far this is the best build kit video i can find on utube. i am thinking about building one. is it even worth building price wise? that much cheaper?
I have a tiny bend in my rear rim i cant almost see it and im scared of it imagine with that bend you have on ahaha how was doing did you changed the rim or something?
Ok, so i know it cost more to diy mod my aluminium Mongoose MTB frame, but at least it don't look off-the-shelf. And 28 tamper resistant Torx screws, on each side, does make bike thieves think twice. They want one easy to snatch, like yours.😁 Remove any key switch, and install a keyless remote/alarm system. Mount the speaker, in such a way, that it can't be seen or cut. Then listen to bike thieves when they say, Yo, that a U-lock! Buy the fattest U-lock you can find.
Do you or anyone else know how to source one of the custom motorcycle headsets seen in the first steps of Ladi's video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KjonNLDEf-A.html i have my NB Power Enduro 90% complete and do not like the low quality bicycle headset, i was able to get one thrust bearing in to replace one of the standard bearings, but am wondering if this is custom made in Czechoslovakia, or are these available in the States too, anyone know?
IK this is an old video but you probably found out that those aluminum pushrods are total garbage, bc I sure did. Also, the grey pushrods that came out maybe a year after the 2.0 was released are tons better than the original shiny ones and hold up very very well, no need to upgrade the grey pushrods at all!
I'm having the one side flashing issue and i emailed Traxxas and they didn't give an actual explanation what error this is and just want me to mail it in and spend $50 for a new one.
I got a guy willing to sell me a talaria battery for a steal do you think it would fit in the bomber frame it seems to be the same size as the battery you have in there
