Nice summary, and basically the same conclusions as I have. Best to keep a sleeper bike on the side for trips downtown.

Love this video Brother, I did this build as well and you are spot on with the weight problem lol. I went with the QS 12000W motor mounted on a Tusk Impact Rim - Rear 36 Spoke Hole, 19 x 2.15, Shinko Dual Sport 705 Series Tire (110/80-19TL Bias), 72V 28ah molicel 21700 battery and a sabvoton 72200 plug and play controller. Up front a DNM USD8 fork, DNM rear mono shock, Deity Skywire 35 Handlebar and the same XOD brake system with floating disk/rotors. This thing is super fun on the NYC streets and it feels like it's perfect for these crappy NYC roads lol. I'm actually $4200 into my build but thats because I decided to change the controller that came with this kit (Sabvoton 72150) plus went and swapped the rear rim for the wider tusk rim and upgraded the spokes and also purchased the set of shinko tires. I also went with the motor cross seat and had to drill new mounting holes to drop the height of the seat (way to high for me at 5.9"). Totally happy with the end result. Good luck and thanks again for the info on your video. Btw check out a couple of beasts I just introduced to NY, the only 2 that exist outside of South Korea, Oh yeah I'm the loud mouth introducing it lol. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XAGf84NPjFs.html

Awesome videos! I bought a super73 s2 than bought a Onyx a few months later. The Onyx is fun and has double the torque but the super73 is way lighter and a way better turn radius. My buddy bought a s2 as well so when we go riding I take the s2. Its no R or Rx but its still fun to rip through the local golf courses paths!

Good Build & Video, I love my Enduro Ebike build too, biggest con for me is the turning circle, on sealed roads its alot less noticeable but on tight twisty dirt trails where I ride 99.9% of the time, it's got quite a large turning circle compared to a regular mtb. But saying that my (Mid-drive BBSHD) Enduro E-Bike build has many more pros than cons. Thanks for Sharing your Upload 😊🙏👍👌

Yeah man, that's what makes it so stable at high speed though, you wouldn't want it so twitchy at 60mph, riding hardtail mtb's at 30+ mph down hills gets a little scary lol. It's best compared to a tour bike's geometry, long wheelbase and stable as hell for easy cruising

Terrific review. Everything you wrote makes great sense. Will give you a counterpoint which may make you giggle a bit. I want to say, you are a thoughtful man who really understands the nuance of 'one size fitting all'. One size does not fit all as you explain. I come from the world of performance cycling as in the lycra dude who can ride a carbon roadbike 25 mph with no motor. In other words, faster than most can ride a bicycle and not as fast as famous people. I'm aging and getting injured more by doing big watts on the bikes trying to keep up with the young guns so decided to build a real fast drop bar roadbike to use for recovery riding. 1500w BBSHD motor, 52V battery. This bike is king among roadbikes. I haven't seen a faster ebike in my town. I haven't seen a bike like you have which is much faster than mine. I can drop a professional cyclist on my ebike. Most elite amateurs cannot hold 30 mph for long on a bicycle. My ebike will do 40 mph. 28mm wide tires. It looks like a road bike. Many don't notice. My bike is black and the big battery kind of blends in. Its quiet. Its a blast. But...but...what you said. My bike is the opposite of yours. One size doesn't fit every occasion. Problem with my bike is riding it fast on the road on less than perfect road surfaces which is common. It beats me up when the road gets just slightly bumpy because those bumps at higher speed on a stiff skinny tired road bike really assault the frame and rider. Higher force/deflection. A dropbar roadbike with 28mm wide tires isn't meant for sustained speeds over 30mph. So I am looking for a bike a bit more like yours. But...but again, your bike is 200 lbs. I want to build a bike maybe 80 lbs with wider lower pressure tires and front suspension at least. Probably a hub motor. What we are talking about is 'finding Goldilocks'. Goldilocks as it turns out is elusive. For a bike more like yours getting into the 200 lb range or 300 lb range, I am likely going to go gas and ride it mostly on the street. 300 cc's or a bit bigger. 80mph min. top speed. More suspension. Stronger frame than what you have. Better brakes. Lights, turn signals, no pedals, more supportive seat. I am not going to part out my motorized roadbike that transforms me into superman on the bike. Its too much fun. My ebike weighs about 40 lbs....20 lbs for the bike and 20 lbs for the battery and motor. I can pick it up easily and I am no longer young. I can even still maneuver a 80 lb ebike. Your bike although very cool is a little heavier than what I want. But no question, the power of your bike, suspension to take the speed...what a hoot it much be to ride. Thanks for sharing your perspective and teaching us how to build a cool bike like you have.

Hello thank for watching, that road bike sounds like a lot of fun it must surprise a lot of people. I am keeping my eyes open for an aluminum or chromoly steel tube style frame design I feel it would be much lighter and stronger than this flat steel type frame.

I have the Enduro frame like yours been using it for 3 and 1/2 years a little over 22,000 miles it's definitely the most efficient for long trips but definitely two e-bikes are the way to go . The enduros that are selling for $3,000 or so don't have a qs v3 or a large savoton controller or a battery as large as yours or mine I have a 12 p 18 ass LG mj1 battery pack I can clear a hundred miles at 25 mph on a charge without pedaling my chain fell off eight thousand miles ago so I can't cheat 😂😂😂 your videos are cool like what you do keep tearing it up.

I have the ant BMS having that set right and because my battery is a 3.2 kilowatt I hardly ever top charge it LG mj1 are probably the most reliable battery made for consumers but with only a 10 amp discharge that's why I have 12 in parallel everyday use I pull $130 amps every time I twist the throttle but I also have a 180 amp setting that I toggle over to so I beat the batteries a little bit there but make up for it by not top charging all the time I expect another 40,000 MI I'll get out of them but that's about 6 years away 😂😂

The video was extremely helpful to me. I ended up buying one of these (pre-made) from ENDURO ebikes after a small windfall of cash. I looked at every other manufacturer of these enduro-style ebikes and just kept coming back to ENDURO based on their cost effectiveness and many build options on their website. Everything else was thousands more expensive and less powerful with seemingly fewer options. And since I only want it for short commutes, light trails and weekend rides this just made sense. Thanks for your time and effort to make this video.

what we did and alot of others is to toss out the small cover underneath and make a custom alloy of acrylic one that can put the controller in ,weve managed to fit a svmc72150 and a svmc7245 both unlocked versions underneath ,with some strategic trimming of the cases,that way it leaves space for battery i managed to get a 20s by 20p battery and also 82 volt supa capacitor bank inside the frame ,it just took abit of time to work it out , the battery and the controllers are also submersion cooled by 3m novec dilectric fluid ,which makes the battery fire proof

the biggest difference was changed sided covers and cut huge amounts of steel out and re welded everything properly in the end weve manage to shave nearly 50% of the weight of the frame when it came in the box.

3 months ago I bought the 72V 12,000W Enduro for $4,400 because of a few minor mods. Maybe the price has gone up? It's supposed to be off the west coast on a ship right now and here next week by Fedex. We'll see. I feel like I've been waiting forever. I'm only 150lbs so I'm expecting to hit the 60 to 70mph.... but more importantly I'm hoping for decent range. I hope to get over 60 miles on a full charge. Part of my upgrade is the 5 levels of pedal assist.... I'll definitely be pedaling as much as I can. I also added the alarm, key fob, front and rear lights and GPS tracker.
@heroryan7859

I want to do the same. How is it?
@Nigol66
@Nigol66 2 года назад
@@heroryan7859 It arrived 2 days ago. I paid for it on Sept 6th! When they've built the bike (in China) they send you photos and a short video of your bike so you can see it and approve it. Pretty cool, but then they take it to pieces again which makes no sense. It arrived in 4 boxes so I spent 6 hours in my garage putting it back together. I had contacted Enduro last month and they said when it arrives you only have to install the front forks and front wheel and connect the battery. Nope. I had to - install front fork and front wheel, attach the front brake caliper and cable, attach handle bar, front light, front horn/alarm, pedals, seat, rear lights, install battery and connect all the wiring which is color coded. The battery was super heavy and a really tight fit into the bike. You get no instructions, Enduro said 'watch the videos on our website' but IMO they're not very good. Important point - the battery had 71% charge when I put the bike together and when I connected the charger it wouldn't charge. I contacted Enduro and they said the charger might be set to 220V??? There's tiny pink switch that you need to flick to 110V! You need a screw driver because the switch is inside the charger housing, but easy to switch to 110V . I just wish I'd known that if they'd provided instructions. Due to bad weather where I live I only rode 1 mile yesterday LOL and the bike scared the crap out of me! It's way too fast. This is a motorbike! I've had 3 gas motorbikes in the past and this ebike is way faster on acceleration. Once it's moving at say 5mph it takes off. I advise putting the power assist on manual and set it to level 1. I had it on auto and when I turned the throttle I flew down the road! It was terrifying, I didn't expect that kind of acceleration. It's like driving a Tesla, the power is right there. I'm also wearing a DOT motorcycle helmet (pudding bowl style). Be safe! I'll get use to the power and I know it's going to be awesome. $4300 is a lot of money but this is a lot of bike. I'll be using it to visit friends and the odd trips to the store for a few items. Oh, I like the key fob which controls the lock/alarm - it's very loud, the horn too. Let me know if you have other questions. 👍

I just ordered the frame…my normal MTB had the shock inside…but was way too high, the drop out was way too small, and reversing the suspension was way too sketchy…I ended up taking the 3000w off the normal EUROBIKE and putting it back together…I do worry of a 27.5 inch will fit the frame…I was gonna cannibalize it, but I have another bike with a Derailer, and crank shaft….I’m gonna put a 1000w kit on it and sell it’ it will be easy to sell due to the looks’ and it will be below &1200. The only thing it will be missing is it’s front tire….I will purchase a front wheel drive. The stealth bomber frame will be using aftermarket handle bars, fork, suspension, and brakes…make $1200 for the normal euro bike…and purchase a good battery….with money left over to convert a beach cruiser to 750 watts, and sell that for $650. I have a buisness in selling gas and electric….but I’m no longer doing gas, there a headache, and no matter how good you do a conversation….a idiot always seem to break them’ I had one guy comeback with a flat tire’ never sell a gas bike to a person who wants to use them for transportation….gas bikes should only be used as a hobby.

@samjohnson517

Well that's kind of the trade-off between a 3.7 KW 28mph bike and a 12 KW 66mph bike, the larger components the motor the battery and besides that I think I have the heaviest frame on the market so if you build one you could definitely find a lighter frame.
