Ive never hated anyone and ive never projected hate towards anyone. I will never let anyone feel they are above me. I totally object to Sally trying to tell me what I can and cannot do and also how I should feel. Iam about finding the truth that does not equate to hate. I feel enraged that Sally feels she can project her opinions onto viewers however dictate that I cannot.

Ive been a fan for 40 years and I’ve never seen anyone give a pity party for Elvis . It’s literally a made up talking point . Empathy and pity are different .
Sally Hoedel missed the right elephant : usually, when someone died, everybody focus on the bright aspects of this person, in a very respectful way. For Elvis, it's the opposite : they are erasing all the wonderful things which could be said about him and focus/create dirty stuff. These are facts - very easy to know only if you are well aknowledged about Elvis - for which MM (some of them) and his ex wife deserve to be blamed. The Colonel or his father were NEVER publicly badmouthing Elvis. This is the real elephant in Elvis' room and it's certainly NOT Elvis (or his fans) who put it there.

I always love your videos and I always love hearing you talk about Elvis but I tend to disagree with your opinion on Sally she is trying to tell Elvis fans that we shouldn’t expose the truth about Elvis with the lies that I’ve been told about us. That’s basically what she’s trying to say in that video. She’s trying to say that we have established groups that called defending Elvis we’re hating the people around him. We’re not hating on people around him. We’re exposing the lies they tell about Elvis Presley‘s history is being extorted and that’s not right is the king of rock ‘n’ roll is the greatest entertainer in the world. Why should his history be put out in the public by people that were around him? Who simply don’t tell the truth? that’s his history and corporate for that is Priscilla and she was not a part of his life for his whole entire life. She even lies about some of his iconic songs like if I can dream, she’s gotten that bad that she lies about and what they’re about. We can’t sit back and say nothing. It doesn’t think it isn’t because we think Elvis is weak as Sally and because Elvis Presley chose these people to be in his life we should not say anything when they lie about him and they have been exposed like child bride Priscilla was not widow which Priscilla was not. She lied about being a virgin. The child bride claim has done damaged Elvis Presley‘s legacy. The claim has done damage to Elvis Presley‘s legacy the Priscilla movie did a lot of damage to Elvis Presley‘s legacy. Priscilla constantly lies about Elvis and paints him as a monster and hurt the victim and you can’t let somebody get away with that. Look at the whole situation with people like Amber who falsely accused Johnny Depp he lost his career because of those false allegations, because we’re living in a generation where we just believe accuses whether they’re telling the truth or not and they cancel a celebrity gets falsely accused now can’t go to court and defend himself. Kenny can’t go to court and clear his name when Priscilla accuses him of rape and domestic violence to sell a book and sell a movie, to make money OFF so I disagree with what Sally said and I think she’s being a hypocrite. She’s telling we can’t defend our idol when he’s been lied about but she can make money off Elvis books.
Elvis' was and still is The Greatest Entertainer of all time! His life was so chaotic, I don't know how many people could have endured everything that he had been through!! God Bless him! May he and Lisa rest in peace!!
What does allow her to tell us Elvis' fans what we are allowed to think about the entourage of Elvis ? She is allowed to desparage Lamar or the movie and we are disallowed to say anything. There's no place for dictatorship in Elvis' world.

Elvis was not weak and chose everything and everyone in his life but this doesn't mean he wasn't surrounded by people who saw him as a cash cow or exploiting his talent and name or pressed him to take a few decisions. The Colonel was good at the beginning and did a lot for him but this doesn't delete the objective fact he took advantage of him too. And in the second place there is Priscilla. Having this consciousness is not "hate" but reality. What I didn't like about Sally is to turn off the comments under her video. This means she doesn't like confrontation or maybe she only likes to read comments of people who agree. Many disagree, sorry and to censor their thoughts are not so civil and mature.
Hey Lass, i love your broadcasts and love Sally's book. But having been a fan since 1956 at 12 years old i am now 80 and lived Elvis' whole career. I have never hated Priscilla, or blamed anyone in his life for anything, but Priscilla has sown much of the perception about Elvis by her words deeds and actions. She has rewritten history to an extend, and recently put out one of the worse movie's about Elvis ever made. She even signed on to become executive producer on the film so nothing should have been a surprise. She actually had her then partner Kruse negotiate the film being made by women's activist Sophia Coppola as director. Her own daughter told her the movie was not a true portrayal of her father, but Priscilla again wanted to be the martyr not the xwife. Why am I a hater to tell young people that continually say Elvis was a pedo, even my granddaughter 12 who saw the movie on tv. ? who would do that to him if she cared about their daughter and granddaughters? Now they have to defend their grandfather. It makes me crazy and she is the reason for this now horrible vision of Elvis as a wife beater and a rapist, everything but the kitchen sink. It was malicious and wrong. I just want real history to be corrected, she has done so much harm to Elvis. I don't hate her I just want the truth about her relationship in Elvis Life and Lisa. Leave Priscilla alone! I'm sick of Priscilla's haters! She loved Elvis and Elvis loved her. But she had every reason to leave him because he was always cheating on her and on EVERY his girlfriend! Priscilla loved Elvis , but he was unable to be faithful to any woman. It doesn't matter to me. I love Elvis, no matter what. Because he was a good man, talented, beautiful , giving , passionate and caring! But I understand that life with Elvis was not always a fairy tale. I who saw him live in concert in 1973 have no opinion on his life style choices just on his musical talent. They have smashed him, bashed him over the years but no one and I mean no one has done what he did in the short 20 years we had him. Doesn't any one calling it a pity party know the difference between pity and empathy ? There is no pity party for Elvis, never has been, but some people are trying to finally give him the empathy and understanding he was never given in the past. From the moment he died, every one in Elvis ' life had a chance to air their grievances against him, using writing their books as self therapy. Of course, hiding it behind the pretenses of doing it to show their love for him, while complaining about every little thing, how hard it was to be part of his life, everything they interpreted as Elvis being unfair to them had to be told, never acknowledging any faults of their own. The pity parties has been thrown by them, to themselves, with their books, or when talking about Elvis. For decades now, books after books, interviews after interviews, people close to Elvis have painted a terrible picture of him, the most horrible narrative about him has been cemented in people's consciousness. I have never seen an artist who has been as betrayed, by as many loved ones, as Elvis has since his passing. It baffles me to see fans that are now more offended by what is being said about the people that played a huge part in tarnishing Elvis' legacy and image, than by all the terrible accusations at Elvis' character. The one person being judged is the one person who has never been able to give his side, Elvis himself. Some people are trying to have a broader understanding of the stories that have painted Elvis in a bad light, not believing everything at face value. They are not throwing Elvis a pity party, they are just giving him the empathy that he has never received, when being stripped of all his dignity and privacy in all those books and interviews.
I sure do agree with you! I don't believe Elvis was weak, or unwise. He chose those people to be around him, for the most part, when he was younger. He had no way of knowing what the future would bring and he certainly had no way of knowing how badly he would be betrayed after he died.

Brilliant Mary. You have captured exactly the disgust of intelligent well researched Elvis fans. Who does Sally think she is talking to? Many of us are more professionally qualified than she is and would never take that arrogant condescending tone. She is obviously part of the desperate attempt by Priscilla's PR team to silence those who quote facts and truth that expose her disgusting charade and exploitation. How dare she try to shame us for refusing to let lies and injustice prevail that tarnish Elvis' reputation. She has clearly misjudged the integrity, passion and determination of real Elvis fans to cut through the stranglehold that false narratives have had on the mass media and expose those guilty of this manipulation.
I listened to Sally too and for my money she talks a lot of sense. I loved her book 'Destined to Die Young' and it answered many questions I'd always had. Elvis must have been a strong character to be so different in the 50s and to remain unchanged when he was getting preached against from pulpits and burned in effigy. He was always so polite to rude/stupid interviewers. Did you also see the post by Sally comparing Elvis's health condition(s) with Celine Dion's? I enjoyed the Elvis film and think it wasn't really for diehard fans like us but it brought so many new fans into the Elvis family and that can only be a good thing. Elvis forever ❤
Hey Michelle, I agree with you on most of it but I don’t see any room for me anymore to like Priscilla. I don’t hate her or anybody but I don’t like her she has done a lot of things to bring down Elvis and his character even her son has talked bad about him and Lisa Marie. But it will all come out soon when Lisa’s book come’s out. But the things we’ve seen and heard our on self you can catch her lying about things that are not true. Some people would like us to put on pink glasses and love everyone in Elvis's world, just because they were a part of his history or because he chose them...but there are moments when it's absolutely impossible because it's an insult to our intelligence. We have seen a lot more, after his death, about these people (ex-wife, girlfriends, "friends" and so on). And see those people constantly lying, milking his name and legacy and saying or doing things without any respect for a dead man who gave them a lot and can't reply to their statements, is awful. And you can't say " It was the past..we have to move on..". I think new generations of fans need to know what is true and what is totally fantasy or crap...and old fans who lived the Elvis Era have to do the best to put out the truth. Sally wrote a book about her research so, why can't others do the same with social media? For some, I admit, it's simply "hate" with no explanations or confrontations... but for many others it's only "truth".

She did research to point out the truth about his addiction, making a book, but when others point out other things about Priscilla or the Colonel or anyone else in their channels or social media, with documents or facts in their hands, is only "hatred" or " blame Elvis". It sounded like "someone" is looking for help to clean her image in the Elvis World. I don't hate Priscilla, but I'm tired of her and all her lawsuits who always bring drama. After Lisa's death we haven't had a moment of peace. If it's the day for her to pay for something wrong she did, I won't be so upset and sad.
