9:55 The big silver gas tank (bottom) is the finale tank that would empty itself in one big burst at the end of every show. I recognize it from the news specials that would tour behind the scenes. It was originally located at the top of the volcano.
The Raiders are going to suck again. They will never be any good in Las Vegas. Owner has no incentive to pay for players, coaches, scouts etc. Still making $$$$$. The A’s will be the same . Fucking joke.
You can see the red bamboo type sticks they had along the sides of the entry that are now exposed. They really cut into the whole casino now. Those are up near what looks like the front but that was the doors. That went fast
I always love watching your updates on the demo. I saw from a few other channels of demo teams drilling holes into the support pillars, so I would love to see that next time maybe. Great update!

Hello my friend Duntov! Love your videos and updates. I originally heard that the implosion would be at 2 am on October 2nd so I booked a room at the MGM Grand for 3 days at really low rates. Then I heard the date had been changed to October 9th and cancelled my reservation. I went to book a room at the MGM Grand again from Oct. 7 to 10 but was surprised to seen the MGM Grand rates for those 4 days was astronomical even though they are weekdays. That confirmed to me that Oct. 9th was the actual date, otherwise why would MGM Grand charge so much for those days. I'll be at my regular hangout at the Flamingo, I'll just have to walk a ways which is fine, because I'll stop several times along the way to have a beer! lol
Thank you for taking the time to show us what’s happening! Great shots of the demo and also the perspective in relation to the other casinos around the perimeter. I hate to see the loss of a once beautiful oasis in our city along with all the others that we have destroyed. At least we have the boneyard and our memories.
there’s a good chance those apartments will be evacuated and placed in a nearby hotel for the implosion. that’s what they did with the apartments next to the Riviera

Does anyone know if they are planning an underground parking garage to accommodate the new guitar hotel Tower? Seems like the existing parking garage would be overwhelmed.
