This is our Exuma Water Sports boat tour of the Exuma Cays in the Bahamas. This is their all day boat tour which lasted about 9 hours from pickup to drop off. The tour included food for the pigs and iguanas, snorkeling equipment, drinks and lunch at one of the Marinas. The first thing you will notice is the beautiful turquoise water. It looks even more amazing in person. The first place we stopped at was Iguana beach. It looked like we were pulling up to Jurassic Park with a beach of dinosaurs. The iguanas were all pretty friendly and looked well fed. We then headed to Thunderball Grotto. It got it's name because it was featured in the James Bond movie Thunderball. This place was amazing. It just looked like a little island from the outside. I was very surprise by how many fish were in there. We then headed Pig Beach. I think this is the most popular excursion in Exuma. It was crazy seeing these giant pigs swim out by the boat to get some carrots. The big pig with the curly teeth is named Curly. You can see that he is somewhat of a "ham" standing on his hind legs to get a carrots. After the pigs, we headed to a marina to go swim with Nurse sharks. We were right in the marina around all of the yachts in waist deep water. The sharks were very gentle. They felt very spongy when holding them. We then headed to a marina for some lunch. After lunch, we saw the wreckage from one on Pablo Escobar planes.
I highly recommend this boat tour of the Exuma Cays if you are on Grand Exuma island. Exuma Water Sports was top notch.
