Qu’est-ce qui est drôle avec cette vidéo ses que le caméraman ne respecte pas la distanciation qui est de 90 mètres faque le caméraman est trop proche la personne qui est dans la machine vient ce commètre une grosse erreur.
Ok ok So what is the point to all of this? I don't care about the toys Wondering why green unseasoned softwood is going to be trucked somewhere.....and.........................How much does that trailer hold?
Im going to guess , cutting some firewood after your shift with a Logmax .....5000? , from the heads/trash pile?. Probably used 50 cents worth of fuel. I wouldn't fill my Stihl for that. Looks like you got the measuring working nice ( for a change right?). Nice work anyway, it's what ya do.
naturally everyone has already brought up the issue of the fuel consumption, but whats it cost to rebuild that head an engine and pumps on that excavator. Everything has a life cycle and ifs its used for hobby work its costing you money.
i havnt operated machinery like this, im sure it would be faster than a chainsaw. my question is why trim the end of most of the logs and why discard the last bit, why not just chuck it in the trailer
keep it up that's the best way to learn he will be a top operator quicker than your ready for I can see he has the right amount of caution a good operator has when starting out leave the redbulls alone the buzz from aiming to be the best in your field is enough :)
alot of wasted movements. you should have a conveyor belt loading the trailer with the feed right next to the pile of wood. also makes cutting the wood faster. then someone can be stacking the trailer at the same time without worrying about hitting them. you should also lay a large tarp underneath the conveyor to catch the sawdust and sell it too.
+tom steve its not about saving seconds , you will save hours. Also the more you move anything, the more it will break. conveyors are a lot cheaper to fix than the hydraulics.
IF it was a production firewood job, but I highly doubt that is the case here.theres no way all them logs cut into firewood could bring the price they would as they are. justa guy cutting some firewood and not in a production setting. so it would just save seconds. I will stick to my opinion of not cost effective to save seconds.
maybe, just maybe his production is making the big piles of logs in the backthat get sent to different mills and not firewood production? idk, I could be wrong. its beena few years since ive worked logging and maybe now they chop it all up into firewood.
