Hi, thank you for checking out my channel. Here, you will find blindness technology videos, including reviews and tutorials on Braille displays, screen readers, old historical products, Apple products, and so much more. I also have an interest in elevators, and film the interesting ones that I find in my local area and on my travels. If there is something you would like to see, just let me know and I will do my best to create the video. Thanks for watching.
I am holding this phone in my hand right now and I cannot find the home screen you have, nor can I find the settings. Now, I have not inserted the sim card yet, but I accidentally managed to connect to my Internet. So, please, more detail! Otherwise, I just bought a paperweight.
Hi it’s Austin, you should try this really cool thing on your Amazon Alexa device where it’s a school called Jeopardy. There’s Jeopardy on your Alexa device. Maybe could you do a video of you playing Jeopardy on your Alexa and demoing it?
I am disappointed about how they made the voices like Allison, Ava, Samantha, etc. sound worse in this version of iOS and the versions after it. I used to use Ava as my primary voice because I really love the way she sounded. Now she doesn’t sound as good, so now I use the Irish female Siri voice. also, I have an iPhone 8 Plus, which is stuck on iOS 16. It is kind of starting to act up.
WHY didn't you show us what READOUT OFF does ? Does it turn off the obnoxious redundant voice telling me the same thing I'm reading anyway ? (see my prior, below)
Could anyone please tell me how many seconds it takes from turning the device on from cold before you can start the recording? For my old Olympus DS50 it was 5 seconds. For the Eltrinex it's 8 seconds which is a lot. Thank you!
Are you running the latest software from 2010? That's amazing email still works, though it may stop at any time if Google changes something. Does it support IMAP, or do you have to use POP3? If you have to use POP3, how do you deal with it deleting messages from the server and not keeping the folder status in sync across other devices?
But now I'm wondering if phones with windows mobile 6.0 and below have there own version of narrator. I mean, you could install other screen readers on it but it'd probably be a complicated process
Also according to that bit of code I heard from the TTS in the music player, apparently the opperating system that the Braille+ runs was written in C. I could be wrong though.
I have heard this text to speech voice on some ATMs before. It’s not the best Voice but if you don’t really care about the voice and you just need a voice their you go
I've used this phone for a little while when my Sony was broken and I had to get a replacement. Most of the phone was quite accessible, indeed, but I couldn't get the google services and WhatsApp working. If WhatsApp and RU-vid worked allright I would stil be using that phone, but now I am using it as a back-up phone. Update, on second thought that was the Nokia 2720 flip. I wonder if the google services and WhatsApp are accessible by now, I really loved the phone because of its size. I wouldn't care if I had to text (that was quite accessible) but my classmates are to lazy to get used to texting.
this has been on iphone since iOS 8 and it is one of the biggest reasons why I have stayed with iPhone for the longest I am today years old finding out Talkback has it also.. i've been interested in switching back to android so now i'm even more intrigued
