Sounds like a bunch of kinks got ironed out... I'm interested if the "Rebind for building rotation" is finer rotation, or just the ability to rebind the keys used to rotate an object in build mode. Thanks for the Update Tech! *Always be flaxin!*
I give my cooks and myself 2 water bottles. Lets me stay out longer and lets cook collect more per trip since most recipes take 4 units of water. I also give hunters and gatherers an extra bottle.
I sometimes forget to do this, but I like to give every new villager a heavy club for defense. Now as I progress, I plan to make a sword for all of them unless they have a bow and arrows like the hunters and guard tower villagers. Anytime the village is attacked, every villager can help defend. (I am more efficient at the forge than a villager, so far I use 5 ore and 15 coal easily having about 15% fuel left. Not sure if I can do 6 ore to 14 coal but I plan to try it.
Hey @Sinical_Angel 👋 thanks for watching the videos. Good job noticing the missing days, but there is no missing video really. This invasion kinda gltched and didn't end right away so while play testing between day 59 and 66 I made the first boss guide which took me a few in game days to prep for and complete. On around day 65 it said "the invasion is over" so realizing the let's play wasn't broken anymore I continued with episode 9. 😃 Hope that clears the time gap up for you.

Long day but I missed the stream, Tech. Nice touch with the mod showcase! Yes that frozen ocean thing is hilarious. (Makes the swamp a Breeze!) but you can still sail, which is funny to me. Great to see the Discord (Finally got to my PC and could join! ) On with the adventure! Part of the "Seasons" mod activates the season only build items. Not always. But I went through 2 full "Years" of seasons and had a Maypole one Spring and not the 2nd.
I spent hours searching for a good seed and this has been one of the best ones I’ve found. On day 15 with 13 villagers and I based around the foot of the iron mine. I might restart and build how you built further to the left of it so there’s more flat land. I had to terraform a lot to get to what I’m at, keep up the content!

And as promised, Tech - the MODS I'd consider "Vanilla Tweaks" and not overtly game changing/breaking. All mods installed with *Thunderstore Mod Manager* *BepInExPack_Valheim* _required for a majority of MODS in Valheim_ *Official_BepInEx_ConfigurationManager* _allows tweaking of mods in game_ *ComfyQuickSlots* _adds quick slots for Armor plus 3 new quick slots for Food/Potions, etc_ *AzuCraftyBoxes* _allows crafting from containers. Use Config Manager to adjust range or play at default_ *InstantRuneText* _makes reading rune stones instant_ *InstantMonsterLootDrop* _monsters now instantly pop instead of being delayed for loot_ The following mods (no this isn't a comprehensive list lol) are simple QoL tweaks that I use for solo play on a heavily modded world. *LongerDays* _exactly what it says_ *ItemStacks* _increases item stack size and reduces item weight while in your inventory_ *FascinatingCarryWeight* _carry weight increases with skill levels_ *AzuClock* _adds a configureable clock to Valheim_ *DigDeeper* _removes dig/raise ground limits_ *FuelEternal* _Torches and Campfires will burn forever once built_ *PlantEverything* _removes Biome lock on certain farmable crops/plants and adds in other items not farmable in Vanilla Valheim_ *ImFRIENDLY_DAMMIT* _Ballista's no longer target Players_ Very much enjoyed the stream. Saw that keyboard glitch, but it looked more like you somehow found a hole in the terrain and got stuck. Nice little hidey hole you got at the Alter, just sad that your luck made it a time crunch (On the Stream at least) to take out the Elder. @@techwizardstream No problem at all, Tech! Some are absolutely just there for QoL - Like longer days (I can definitely see the benefit for Let's Plays where the day cycle is only ten minutes). Things like carry weight and stack size are there typically only for HUGE builds. I have/had one build that took nearly 10,000 black marble just to layout and yes, it's a Lag Fest LOL! One I didn't include that you sounded excited to check out was *DragonRiders* _allows dragons to be bred/riden_ (does require 1 other mod to function, *BetterRiding* by the same author and recommends *DragonRidersExtras* )
Very much dig the build, Tech!! I did something very similar (with Stone as well) and the only problem I ran into, specifically building crafting areas into the walls, was future expansion. Now I typically do small villages with one main Longhouse for my rested bonus! Question: Do you prefer to do your build videos in Survival Mode, or are you simply doing that for our benefit? (As the audience) I personally don't mind either. (That backing track was awesome vibes for the build too!)
Thanks I liked the backing track too. Just wasn't sure if my tastes were anyone else's. Also I guess I could turn on god mode for building but if I have to grind for the Build then the end result will be more realistic. But in the future I'd like to just do some showcase builds in creative separate from the let's play.
Now I need to find a pool of fish near the shore so I can build a fishing hut and have a villager fish them, after I get the achievement. Thanks for testing that and showing us.
Great tips, Tech! One tip I might add: "Know your enemy" - Every mob type in Valheim has a weakness. Trolls are weak to Fire, Skeltons are weak to Blunt, etc. Knowing this can make a dangerous situation much more manageable. (Don't spend an hour killing a boss with a bow when they're resistant to Pierce damage... Yes, I've done this LOL) Have a great one!

Apparently cave fingers were made to eat raw when in the cave to keep you fed. Cooking them in any way makes spoiled food. Only edible raw. Saw this on ASKA discord channel.
There is another way to mark a place a marker by simply placing a simple fire without Qing the campfire or placing any resources into it to build then you don’t waste your banners
Also set up all your shelters and first three work huts all before your first villager arrives so you get a major jumpstart to village growth. Also set your wells near the mine, and further away, just pin them in order of priority to you over course. Also make 2axes, 2 picks and your leveling tool and cut down timber while you wait for your villager to give them all the needed supplies to get the shelters and work stations all built
I suggest you make your stone blades as soon as you pick up 2 or more it saves space and gives you the ability to to make tools immediately and save time between your work and gathering

I got lucky and the terrain worked well in my favor when fighting that boss. (He'll stun himself if he slams into a tree/rock without going up it) And don't forget: *"Always be Flaxin!"*
Glad you enjoyed the video. Yep using the terrain to your advantage and if you get the timing down you can roll to avoid the charge as well. But the shield block is the most consistent. RL got in the way of Live Stream last week working on establishing a set time for Live Streams. Any time of day suggestions?

Eat a garlic then hover over the buff on your character page and see what it says....then eat an onion and do the same thing. Test it out and then please let us know what you find. Perhaps it has changed in one of the updates.

@@techwizardstream My Invasion was fun! I won't spoil your own but I encountered a weird bug that has made my Alphabet seed a bit more difficult. My main mine at the village has bugged and workers will no longer go into the mine to collect the ore. So I used my cart to go into the mine and slowly have been collecting it. That is a Pain in the rear! "Keep on Flaxin" Tech! 😆
The Dev's unfortunately have said there is no plans on bringing it to Playstation. But it is on xbox. gamerant.com/valheim-ps4-ps5-playstation-xbox-exclusivity/ They do discount the game on steam often.
