Hey! Thanks so much for this video info on this is literally nonexistent lol & so would you recommend getting your associates through the ccaf? Also, how long did it take you to move up to 5 starting from tech school graduation?
Hello, I was wondering if you knew anything about endorsing your license in other states that are not part of the NLC. For example, I live in Nevada, You mentioned in the video that you need 5 lvl OR CCAF. Would proof of 5 lvl suffice or do they need the CCAF to accompany that? The reason I asked is because this is what it says for me to endorse it. It asks for a nursing degree/certificate. "All graduates of nursing programs in the United States: You must submit a copy of your diploma or a copy of an official transcript issued directly from the registrar to the student or to the Board, which must indicate a nursing degree/certificate and graduation date. Please note we will not accept a copy of unofficial transcripts. You may upload a copy of your official transcripts, diploma or certificate with your application, attached to a message in your message center, or send them to the address above. Electronic transcripts may be emailed to nursingboard@nsbn.state.nv.us." Thank you in advance!
When I deployed to Iraq in 2008 as a single soldier living with my parents in the National Guard, I had to get a notarized letter from my mother saying I paid rent to get BAH for the zip code of the house. My second deployment I was married so I automatically got BAH.
I'm currently an lvn/lpn for kaiser in ca. Been an lvn for 8 years in many different departments. I might consider going in to air force. Im curious what the process was. I dont see many lvns posting on this in the air force
I signed a contract into the IRR for 3 years I had re-enlisted for 3 years after 2 years in the IRR. I definitely know how you feel. Wherever you decide to go, I hope all is well! You can literally just jump right back in, if you feel like it. So don’t worry about leaving for a couple years. It’ll go by quick.
Nice! Exactly. So many kept advising me "don't have a break in contract" but as I was going through out processing almost everyone said people have breaks all of the time. I feel a lot more relieved knowing that having a break is perfectly fine. :)
Hi Zhada! I just want to thank you so much for taking the time to put a series of videos together about the process of being a medic to an RN! I’m considering joining the Air Force and your videos are exactly what I needed!
Finally taking my test July 8th. Taking the NGN. Thank you for giving this info about last 3 the 5 level books. I have all 5 books in binders. I have been doing a ton of NGN questions and review. I figure all of that and time focusing on refreshing should get me passed the threshold.
@@balconyclubLA I know something is changing regarding the test. So, I would suggest that you speak with your UTM to get the most up to date information regarding the test. Because they're changing it this year if they haven't done so already
Hey your channel is awesome! I’m in the Ohio Army National Guard and like you, I’m superrr big on the benefits that the guard or reserves can offer both financially, and educationally. I just wanted to let you know that the info that you’re putting out is very awesome because as you and I both know, the military doesn’t do too good of a job at marketing all the benefits they can offer. I might make a few videos about the benefits too.
Thank you!! I met some pretty cool folks from the Ohio National Guard during a training years ago. I wish I remembered their names 😅 yes! There are a lot of benefits that we just never chat about. Hopefully one day we can collaborate!
I was looking for travel nursing and this was recommended to me, we actually worked together before as trainers and I'm a nurse now as well. Glad that this video was recommended by RU-vid .
Hi ! Thanks for the info !!!!! My Air National guard recruiter says you don’t get BAH in basic training., he says you get all that in tech school (Air Force) ., im confused
Hi! From personal experience, turn in your lease or a paper from somewhere that you pay rent/mortgage/ own to the finance department of your base. Any orders 30 days or more, you will get BAH Type 1.
Oh yes. It's a job. So, you won't get paid until you start working on orders (Orders are like job contracts. You will have to work before getting paid)
@@zhadarayHello, I plan on going into the NY Air National Guard, is the one weekend a month and 2 weeks a year classified as orders and if so will that qualify me for BAH type 2 ?
Do you need a Missouri address to challenge the board and sit for the test in Missouri? I am a guardsman with a Louisiana address. Louisiana doesn't allow 4N0s sit for the LPN exam.
Hey Kaylee! I’m in the Louisiana Air National Guard also, were you able to go out of state and test & have your license transferred to Louisiana ? Or did you not go through the process?
That's my hometown Cali! It's funny that people overseas thinks that all locals can dance. I'm a terrible dancer. I never learned how to move my hips and that's why women left me hanging on the dance floor once in a while.... Proud of your progress...Greetings from Mississippi River.
Haha, greetings! I totally get it. People assume that I can dance well based on my background too. And I used to get teased a lot for dancing. So, I totally get it. Once I met people who cheered me on, I started dancing more. So, I understand. Thanks a million for your comment! It is nice relating to others. Have a great one Team Mississippi
Hi I know you did a video about LPN already but I have a few questions about that. How long did it take you to get your 5 lvl in guard so you could test for LPN? I’m in Georgia and I want to get mine through Missouri.
Give it a year or two after you complete tech school. It depends on your unit. I made a video earlier for medics becoming lpns but I plan to remake it with more details soon. In the meantime, just focus on level 3
Yeeeeeees Zhada 😊 You are looking cute ✅👌💯 Congratulations to you 🎉🎉🎁🎂 You are making big moves out there 💯💯 Interesting video. Perfect choice of profession . Peace and love ❤️
Might be a stupid question but I’m completing Tech School as a 4N right now. I’m also guard in Georgia. I just wanted to know if you had to travel to Missouri to take the exam?
Also I’m pursuing my CCAF is that a requirement to challenge the board? I heard you have to complete your 5 lvl training before getting it. Is that accurate? What are the requirements to take this route. I’m in the air national guard btw
@@carolsaunders6707 You do need your 5 lvl to challenge the board. I’m also ANG. More detailed info can be found in the KX. I’d be happy to send you NYS LPN process, if that’s the route your going.
Please I want to apply this year but the forms are not out yet and I'm now starting can I also apply for the scholarship and Will they pay my fees and please one of my results was E8 and the rest is good,A to c Wii they still give me the scholarship I'm applying for community nurse
Hey Zhada! Hope all is well! I finally finished my LPN program last summer and passed NCLEX using your strategies😅 Thanks again! Now I’m going back to transition and the nurse corps scholarship is basically the only way for me to afford going. Can you provide any additional details about how your application process was and what made your application stand out? It is a very competitive scholarship I know, but the benefits are SO GOOD! Thanks
The benefits are amazing! Everything that I did is in the video though. Just try your best and good luck :) I will have an updated video with the process post-graduation later on
