Nightmare doing this and I have them bubbles I could not for the life in me get my hw95 with a hawke 4,9,50 to group like you have so I went out and the other day and bought a hw97k with a new scope 4,9,50 so the same as, now ive come away in my camper and this morning I zeroed it in from 15y then 20 and so on up to 25 yards and everything was great grouping pretty well pound coin size, we went for a walk round Whitby wash the van all that stuff came back and can't group now lol 🤷 as that got to me as it sure can't be the gun lol my misses and me are having a bit of giggle about but it is frustrating
looks like an amazing course. Lovely setting. In HFT, are you permitted to pull on the reset sting and slowly lower it to see the wind before settling down to shoot?
Funny isn't it that they can all go missing sometimes. I think they've all had September away from Suffolk. You imagine there are hundreds of them in the maize and when the maize goes the deer go too. I've noticed that harvesting maize for bio fuel leaves nothing on the ground for animals to forage. Roll on next month:-)
That is one nice young looking stag, those Bay and Tray tines where were quite long and impressive. Something I would think was unusual on just farm land! Sorry, I've been away from the UK for a long time and deer seem to be very prolific now. If I was younger, I'd move back, as the hunting is far easier than hunting here on NZ DOC hunting blocks. Lovely video, thank you for sharing.
Yes, sleep make a diferance to my shooting. I keep a shot record card for recording each of my shooting. It includes weather, temp, sun angle, and how "I feel" in my self. Am I tired, sleepy, aching from work (and age) and I can see a relationship between my shooting and my physical state.
I've owned only one rifle that wasnt an AA. My first gun was a Diana when I was 14 years old. 40 years later, I now only own my AA pro target I've owned for 25 years. I took a few years away from shooting and now want to return to FT and HFT, but I've found my gun isn't holding a charge. Needs a service but the cost of the service means I've got to wait a few months to save up the cost. It's a shame as I too would love to be able to do my own services on my gun but there is no way to do that.
Interesting use of the word "Budget"..... Various models of the 95 here in the USA range from $500 to $650... and we tend to use the word budget for something in the $200 - $300 range as in affordable to those not wanting or may be not able to spend a lot of money.
Accuracy they are the same, The HC is harder to cock as it has a shorter lever, but it has the unf thread so you can fit a silencer, fitting this silencer adds weight to the front and you can get amazing accuracy. so, for me, it's the HC with a silencer or barrel weight.
The rear paddle information is incorrect, from the flat to the end of the paddle isn't 63mm, its from the flat drawing a line from paddle tip to paddle tip is no more than 63mm.
Absolute pleasure to shoot with you and Steve Cartledge Gary.I had certainly run out of fuel.Tough course for me and I couldn't have got around with out yours and Steve,s help.More work needed an awesome event I will be back and competing again.Hope to see you both on the circuit. All the very best and a personal thanks to Rob Bates for making this possible for me 👌👍🇬🇧😁.Tony
I try to shot with pellets barracuda mach of the 0,69 grammi, but is un disaster. Esact heavy of the 0,67 grammi are very perfect and precise pellets. I have Air arms tx200 MK3 full of the 18 joules
Stopped using English Sporters they sometimes don't eject quite a lot actually its not at tall a myth, the gun just lock up on opening! ,not the gun got two new XS pro & XT and my guns are the cleanest around ,shame. All the other cartridges I have tried eject fine so that just leaves one thing case issue .I am not stupid. Back on S&B super Parcours 8's or F Black 8.5 👌👍
Groups weren't great from either of those rifles. My bolt action .22lr would be under 1" at that range. Expected better from the air rifle. The semi auto .22lr was no surprise at all.
Your ear defenders aren't in properly. A) They won't offer the protection. 2) They might fall out. C) They'll create friction spot. 4) You might get feedback if on and draw unwanted attention. NHS Audiologist in the know.
Thanks for your comment. They are fitted as per the manufacturers direction and I haven’t experienced any issues as you suggested but I’ll double check with Cens just incase there is a problem.
Question from a german hunter here. The muntjac doe was obviously nursing which would be a huge problem in germany due to laws and general ethics. I heard about muntjac being in every possible state of breeding/birth/nursing etc. year round so there doesn´t seem to be a lot you can do but I think I´ve never seen a doe with fawns in your videos. How old are muntjac fawns when they are following the doe? How come you rarely see them doing that? And when are they independent enough to survive the loss of their mother? This by all means is not meant as criticism, I just don´t know a thing about muntjac and I´m curious to learn something.
