I agree with you on movie and series topic sooooo much! I wasn't watching anything for a while by the accident. And when I started again eventually my anxiety lvl went up immediately. I think we are not designed to watch and know so much on a daily basis. Also on the news agree too! I quit in 2022.

Love your advice and its great that you said you only do certain things and then finish off that room another day, I have been doing that, if I am overwhelmed then I never do a job properly if the list is too much but if I am very tired I think a little job is better than non at all. Take care hugs

So much fruits just sitting in the vase is definitely not minimalism in Russia. They are expensive. I haven’t had fruits or berries for maybe 3 years now.

Equating minimalism with weight is disgusting. Some people have hormonal issues which cause excess weight. Others have parts of their body that don't work properly (like thyroid) which cause weight gain and make it extremely hard to get weight off. Minimalism isn't about being ableist.

I agree with all the points except the nest. When I force myself to dump a lot of stuff, I never feel bad about it, because empty space feels so much better than shelves full of stuff. But his book is not a bible, it is a guide.

Loved this video! I wish I saw it years ago…I had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer (100% fine now) and had implants put in. Wearing a bra was extremely uncomfortable and painful at times so I gave it up..however because I😊 was so self conscious I developed a terrible slouch, always hunching over (didn’t want to stand up too tall and be like “hello tits!) I have recently decided to not give a F*ck at this stage of my life, stand up tall, back straight and be me! Your video was a much needed boost to my new confidence. Thank you thank you!

That's it.

Thank you! It was such a bliss after days of rain and hail! 😁 I did not use a specific recipe for the soup. I just use whatever I have on hand. Usually it turn out alright, but sometimes it does not 😅 In this soup I used: Onion, garlic, leek, celery, carrot, brown lentils, vegan “meatballs” and veggie broth. 🍲

Watching you go about your daily activities has left me feeling so positive and reminded me of the beauty and value in living slow and simply. The Artist's Way sounds very interesting and I really like advice to stand up to the negative voices (internal and external), and to do things for yourself that you enjoy. I tend towards introversion and have suffered from depression when I start feeling that I can't meet standards that I set for myself or think that others expect. Minimalism is a great tool to help us discover what is important and to find simplicity but sometimes it brings out negative thoughts, perfectionism, an idea that if you control, organise and reduce more your life's problems will all be solved. The key is to focus on the joy and appreciation of what you have and what you do. Thanks for the reminder.❤

And once again, it’s always amazing to me how your videos time perfectly well with moments in my life. This “artist’s way” definitely sounds interesting, particularly the part involving silencing the inner-critic. That’s always been my problem for most of my life: Low self esteem combined with negative/fearful thoughts. Though I will say I’ve also been recently doing something I came up with that I call “Thought Bubble-popping”. Basically I catch myself having a negative thought, self-criticism, reminiscence of a long-forgotten moment or regret, etc… then I “Place” that thought into an imaginary bubble. I imagine the bubble floating up near me, where I acknowledge it as only a thought. Then, I take my finger and “pop” it - allowing me to go on with my life without the thought being there anymore. :P Curious to see if I can combine your AW method with mine in some way. Thanks again as always! ^_^

Love that you can do this. And a woman without makeup is impressive. It says a lot about your confidence, and having those chemicals in your skin can't be healthy. We are stuck in the 9-5 work to live game and hope to get back to simplicity.
